STAY AWAY FROM MACY’S ONLINE ORDERING
I ordered one pair of shoes that was supposed to have shipped out on 11/19 to arrive 11/24. When the shoes didn’t arrive, I called Macys and was told by the rep the shoes weren’t supposed to come until 11/27. I told her I was supposed to have received the package on 11/24. She just kept repeating I would get the package on 11/27, even though I had an email from Macys that said in big red letters "Your package has shipped! Arrival date 11/24!" So, I said "okay" and waited. 11/27…no package. 11/28…no package. 11/30…no package. I called again this evening, and was now told the package has an arrival date of 12/2. What a disappointment! I don’t know what they did over there, but they screwed up on something! Macy’s online is obviously disorganized and unprepared to meet shoppers’ requirements.
This was the very first time I ordered from Macys online and it will be the LAST TIME.
chimein… It’s SO frustrating when we don’t get our packages ‘on-time’—> according to what we’re told to expect. Alas, I have come to the conclusion that ALL Orders from ANYWHERE (except Amazon Prime) take two-weeks to be delivered. In this way, I spare myself the aggravation of having believed what I’ve been told. This especially holds true during a Holiday Season… don’t believe a word said about ‘shipping’ and ‘delivery’ dates… order in plenty of time!
