Have got to go!That’s what is making these boards
so competitive. It’s so silly …plz get rid of them.
If someone does not smile it seems to send a strong message.
Also, how can you get smiles and not even participate?
HSN..plz rethink your strategy!Plz….stop them all together.
Agreed. The smile board really is worthless. It has become a smile war. I actually prefer to smile by telling someone I have read their post, OR to keep track of where I left off reading. It may or may not mean that I agree with the poster. It may or may not mean that we are friends.
Yes it is high schoolish and HSN should remove all the smile boards. And the most ridiculous smile board is on the Customer Service Need Help thread. Most of those smiles are where posters made complaints!! Including me.
HSN we do want to keep it fun here and I do have fun but not where it creates groups and groups create animosity. Watch how the smile board grows now with 1 particular group now that they have 3 threads.
HSN you can pull my post but you know this is true and it should not be catered to. HSN is creating these problems. Quit treating us like children. Most of us want to act like grown ups and just enjoy ourselves here.
The ‘smiles’ feel very high school, junvenile to me. The popular pack gets the smiles and the post-ers who don’t have a strong following don’t get any smiles, even though they might deserve them. Also, it feels like the significance of a comment is based on the number of smiles the comment receives. A post that has a lot of smiles isn’t necessarily a valid or notable post. To me, it smacks of incompetency in power. A lot of silly high school girls get ‘elected’ for things based on their popularity, not their ability.
