Sizing and Quality
Good Evening Fellow shoppers , I was wondering how many of you have had ongoing issues with HSN sizing and Quality .. please message me all of you that have .
Always look at the garment measurements vs HSN measurements. Garment measurements are almost always right. The keyword is almost always.
Sorry you have experienced quality and and sizing issues.
I recently bought soft and cozy slippers. The sole is flimsy and narrows towards the heel. The inner material moves around while walking. The slippers cost 14.95 and 3 dollars for shipping. I will have to stand in a long line to return this product, and it will cost me 7.95 to return. As far as I know, there is no refund on shoddy products.
The biggest burn was a Sharif High Tea hand bag for 160. After a few months, it started peeling and coming apart. I typically give my stuff to a local woman’s shelter. I threw this bag in the trash. I would be embarrassed to give this purse away.
I have never had quality issues with Twiggy or Anthony products.
The only time that I called for an exchange and they didn’t immediately put the exchange in the mail is when my item was over $100. Otherwise, it is in the mail. I like that because I am an impatient person. I think HSN’s customer service is the best I have found anywhere. They will bend over backwards to be helpful.
moorsie… What hassle with Customer Service? As far as I’m concerned, HSN has the best Customer Service of all the shopping channels. If one does have a problem with a Phone CS Rep, ask for a Supervisor. If that still doesn’t work, come back here, go to the ‘CUSTOMER SERVICE-NEED HELP’ Forum and ask the MODS (Moderators) to help you with your problem. They’re fantastic at going to bat for us.
As to Returning something that doesn’t fit—> Velvet is right… don’t ever keep something that doesn’t fit properly. And, while none of us like Return Shipping Fees, it’s really a small price to pay for the CONVENIENCE of trying stuff on in your own home. Many of us here just can’t handle schlepping thru boutiques or malls anymore.
Also, in case you didn’t know—> If you call Customer Service and tell them you want to Exchange for a different Size, they will 1) Ship the new one immediatetly, (they won’t wait until your Return gets back to them); and, 2) They will Waive the Return Shipping Fee… use the Return Label attached to the Invoice, fill out the Return Form marking it for Exchange, and send your ill-fitting garment back. And, not only do they Waive the Return Shipping Fee, but, they don’t charge you again to ship the new Item out to you. All this is pretty dang great, if you ask me.
The inconsistent sizing is a huge problem here. There have been many threads and requests asking for what size each model is wearing during each presentation.
