Shame on the stylist
TS by DG2 model sizing on some of them is painfully tight it’s horrible to look at.
Sue in several sizes too tight. Saylah in a ‘10’ – do they think we can’t look at her and know her hips are no where near the garment measurements for a 10.
Kenya is of course wearing pants too roomy as is Kara. They too deserve better.
Please dress them in their real sizes, the side and back view for Sue and Saylah made them look like they were painfully jammed into the pant. My heart goes out for them. Those women work hard and they’re made to look awful. It’s ugly and unfair for the brand to be represented this way. Again, who dresses these people? Give me the job and everyone will look comfortable and appropriate.

I agree. Most of the time the pants show stress creases because they are too tight. And the hosts wear jackets so small they can’t meet the two sides together in the front. Wear the right size and prove to us, the customers, that you are selling well fitting, becoming clothes. Otherwise, you’re just losing eyes and sales.
-
A LOT OF DG2 JEANS SHOW STRESS CREASES BECAUSE THEY ARE SMALL BUT ALSO BECAUSE OF HOW CHEAP THE MATERIAL IS THEY USE A LOT OF CHEAP MATERIALS AND SPANDEX SO THAT THEY WILL STRETCH A LOT, WAY TOO MUCH AND IT LEAVES ALL THOSE CREASES IN THE LEGS IT LOOKS TERRIBLE. YET SAM LOOKS LIKE HE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO STYLE HIMSELF.
HE IS SHORT WHICH IS FINE BUT YOU DON’T WHERE A PLATFORM SNEAKER WITH A WHITE BOTTOM AND BLACK TOP IT WILL ACCENTUATE YOUR BIG FEET FOR A SHORT TORSO.
HE SHOULD WHERE AN ALL-BLACK SNEAKER WITH A BLACK PLATFORM HIS FEET WOULD NOT APPEAR SO HUGE.
HE BRAGS TOO MUCH FOR BEING A STYLIST FOR HSN. ALL THE CELEBRITY NAME DROPPING IS OBNOXIOUS. I DON’T EVEN LIKE CELEBRITY’S ESPECIALLY THE ELITIST FAKE OPRAH I CAN’T STAND HER. HE WILL SAY OH THAT IS WHAT JAY LO WHERES OR THIS ONE OR DROP A BIG DESIGNERS NAME. YOU NOTICE UNLIKE QVC THEY DO NOT TAKE PHONE CALLS ANY LONGER BECAUSE THEY PROBABLY WOULD GET HATE CALLS.

I like them if I could get a good fit. The host says she’s in a 16T?????? I agree the models are wearing too tight or too loose! I have never had this new fabric. I have no idea what size to get.
-
You are 100% correct. Not only do the stylist lack any sense of fashion but the fashions presented in the last year are ugly! All the real designers are gone and for me not to have spent a couple hundred dollars a month at QVC or HSN is not normal for me. I very seldom purchase anything from these companies. Just not worth it and then if you have to return anything! The expense.
-
PLEASE HAVE THE HOST GIVE THE SIZES THAT THE MODELS ARE WEARING IN THE TS DG2 JEANS !!!!!!!
-
I agree that the clothes look too small on hosts
what also bothers me is that when presenting a top, it is always either tucked in or half tucked,
the half tuck is an awful look
With that styling you can not see how long the top is, if its boxy or not
.And please stop putting jackets and a huge scarf over the top being presented.
This styling does not convince me to purchase the item. Please use correct sizes too. -
@karen16, yes, yes! HSN keeps sending us surveys, claiming it wants our valuable feedback, but how about reading these comments? You (HSN) pay for this “Community,” and we are giving you advice. How about reading it and acting on it?!
I’ve been sending this same feedback since I started shopping here, 15-plus years ago! I eventually gave up because … no changes!
Okay, if it’s too hard logistically to pull different sizes for the models for each showing because the garments run small or large in the model’s usual size, then how about letting us know what size the model usually wears and what size the (too small, too tight, or looks great) garment is that she’s wearing? Now, THAT would be valuable because we’d know to size up or size down or order true-to-size.
Does HSN think that size transparency will turn us off? Nah … really: What turns us off quite a lot more is lack of size and fit information, receiving ill-fitting merchandise, having to return or exchange, and looking at models who (through no fault of their own) look terrible in the items HSN is trying to sell us!

I am annoyed that there are no size-charts available for sale or clearance items! I have found out that further down the page the original item number is sometimes available so if you open a new page and put that in, it takes you to the original page which OFTEN, but NOT always, has the size chart available! Really now, would it not just be simpler to leave the size-chart available! I;m particular about measuring and doing all I can to avoid having to send things back, but often even so, the items are not measured correctly!

Re. DG2: the many iterations of stretch denim that have been presented by Sam are just TOO confusing! Sam, why don’t you give us a chart showing the stretchability of each type of denim so that we can see at a glance whether we should size up or down according to how much stretch each kind has? I have asked HSN several times for such a chart – and have tried emailing you also – this would help customers so much and prevent us having to keep returning jeans over and over because we didn’t know where to start on sizing!! For instance, I am usually a size 22, but my recent purchase of Virtual Stretch denims ended up being a P16W!! I have considered ordering Classic Stretch, or one of the MANY other types of stretch denims, but without knowing how much stretch to expect from each type of fabric variation, it is too confusing and annoying having to start at a size 22 and keep sending them back until I’m down to the size I actually need!! PLEASE HELP SAM, PLEASE! A simple chart on HSN would help SO MUCH!

I agree with everyone that has posted. I feel sorry for the girls that are wearing pants which are way too tight in the crotch. What are these companies thinking. Do they think we are blind? And Sam, not all your jeans can possibly be the greatest and bestsellers. Stop with the stretch. All the stretch does is put a person in a smaller size than she should be wearing. It also shows every flaw in her body.
Before I make a purchase, I look at reviews. According to the host, the product is wonderful. Well, read the reviews. I have taken many things out of my cart based on the reviews.-
This topic is TWO YEARS OLD.

It may be two years old, but everything is the same. They haven’t improved on anything.

I can’t believe the sizes anymore but I came on here to say please no jackets on a blouse so we can’t tell anything about the blouse. I want it to cover my butte and I do not want anything tucked into pants, what an old outdated look. You cannot see how it hangs, hate the boxey look.
-
I agree totally. Whoever is styling the models has horrible taste. but the worst thing you could do is put someone in a garment that is too small or too big & that is just what HSN is good at doing.
You wonder if they are trying to sell their clothes or deter you from buying their clothes.
