I have been an HSN customer for over 25 years. Just today became aware of a policy that I was told by Customer Service has ALWAYS been in place on returns. That is NOT getting a postage paid lable for a return. I am aware that they deduct it from your refund and have always accepted that. Now apparently unless you see the tag on the item that says eligible for EZ returns you do NOT get that lable.
Since I am disabled and not able to get to the post office or UPS store to pay up front for postage, that makes returning items almost impossible for me.
THIS WILL MAKE ANY FUTURE PURCHASES I MIGHT MAKE MUCH LESS because if they do not give me that label I JUST WON’T EVEN TRY THE ITEM.
USPS has free package pickup. They have information about it on their site. If you don’t have an EZ return label, you can pay the postage online and print a label with delivery confirmation.
Thanks for this informmation. Yes, returns are extremely hard when you’re disabled and it’s so frustrating when the product you got was used and/or damaged. UPS does charge to pick up at your home because I’ve called them. The postal system doesn’t have a quick tracking link and returns take twice as long……..been there, done that, but you need a prepaid return label. Without a return label many people will not take a chance on trying an item if it can’t be exchanged or returned. Bad for business, IMHO.
You have to schedule the pickup and I Was told there is a charge for the scheduled pick up????????
I think the USP and UPS will pick up returns at your doorstep.

TREKKY… I don’t get it. These ‘game’ people have all week to make sure the game runs smoothly, and yet, it seems each week there is some kind of disaster! *sigh*
This is really sad….I have said many times…HSN needs a new IT staff!!! Terrible. :mansad:
