Regular Waist Jeans Please!!!
I have been shopping with HSN for years. Can someone please tell me why nobody will make a jean at the regular waist placement? I don’t mean a Higher waist jean,I mean regular waist jean or some say high waist..not like 40s high waist either. Most women in my age group (no, I am not 70)!!! We are (10/12 /14) and do not wear our tops tucked in! We are wearing longer tops due to age and weight.
My friends and I want the Regular waist jean. Another famous designer makes a regular waist jean at a dept. Store. I have decided to start buying hers now. Is there any other person out there that wants a regular waist jeans …so no skin or fat hang over! Please ,we want to look trendy without looking like we are 18, but geez can someone out there please tell me if anyone else thinks the same way ???? Also, is everyone on HSN a size 0- xxsmall?????? Thanks DT
I agree and I am a size 8 and slender and do wear tops tucked in. Have nothing to hide front, side or back w/i these never-ending long/short, shark-bites, tunics…The problem is getting the front and rear rise measurements. At least in the past most women have been short-waisted and now seem to have no waist at all w/i the majority of Americans and consumers being over-weight and obese. The y call the “waist” the part under the bosom. That also falls in a never-never land and is uncomfortable. Antthony has pants, not jeans, that are at the waist and sufficient rise measurements. The below the belly-button pants can be uncomfortable. I end up constantly pulling them up or needing a belt. Even hem lengths for skirts, dresses… are whatever. That way it doesn’t matter if anything has a definite fit standard. Frankly I don’t know how the marketplace and demand would accomplish this, but I’m with you! It’s also ridiculous to see the models in high heels or not w/i their jeans dragging on the floor. Talbots might be worth a try and Lands End. Each manufacturer has different specs. I grew up having my clothes made and fitted for me. Now it’s just anything goes. That way they can sell more. Finding them in malls would be a physically exhausting nightmare trying on and on and on. Oh to find just one brand that really fit instead of making do.
I feel the opposite and never wear regular waist jeans. One of my sisters teases me about the tiny zippers on my jeans LOL. I don’t think I am trying to look like a teen if the jeans are designed in an age appropriate manner. In my opinion, jeans with a lot of embellishments tend to look like teen jeans. I do feel there is enough of a market on both sides of the waist issue and manufacturers should make them both ways. Regardless of my opinion, I encourage others to wear what THEY like regardless of fads and trends.
