Product Reviews: Rank
Has anyone noticed when you choose the Low to High ranking it actually mixes reviews with higher scores? This is frustrating because I expect to see all the lower ranking reviews and I have to scroll past reviews I’m not interested in. Not that I’m looking for negative in products, but I carefully compare reviews and it wastes time seeing reviews I already read. This should be fixed to do what it’s supposed to do, also it’s ridiculous you can’t go back and give a second review once you’ve submitted one. Of course now I wait a couple weeks or months before reviewing a product. Some people will be like,” to early to tell” that tells me nothing! Lol
Your post is spot on! Whether someone likes or dislikes an item, I’d like to know “why”. Some reviewers I know can be trusted to give much needed accurate information. The reviews that say “…don’t know haven’t rec’d it yet” are funny. There have been many times I’ve been “on the fence” about an item, so will read the reviews. BAM! Certain reviewers I’ve found to be totally accurate. I’ve learned I can their judgment. At this point, I make the purchase. Rarely, if ever, have I been disappointed. :womanhappy:
When I want to read reviews on any item, I click on the stars themselves. I don’t know why but I click on the one reviews first to read them and most of the time they don’t make any sense so I go up and click on the two star reviews and so on until I reach the five stars.
?i was thinking about having a 1st prize for the worst review. you can co-judge. i just read one that said….it honestly said ” i haven’t received it yet so i can’t write a review.” another one just has the letter “s” nothing else. there was a short title with 3 stars and then just the letter “s”. i am going to pay more attention now. too funny!
yes, you are right. when you go to “reviews” it shows the highest. you have to go to the stars yourself. i think that hsn really shouldn’t even post reviews that don’t give information about fit and size. i really, really don’t want to read “i wore this to dinner and really turned heads.!” seriously, just tell me about quality, size, and fit. especially for shoes. or, the worst is, as you said, “i haven used this yet.” we can’t even write a review until we’ve had the item for five days, so why do they post these with no information? thank you for your post.
I haven’t noticed any problem. Make sure you’re choosing Rating, and not Date or Helpfullness. You can also click on 1 Star to see just those reviews, or any other star number.
