I live in Pikesville Maryland, a week ago today most of Maryland had the biggest snow storm ever!! Two or three days goes by and it’s business as usual. (thank you Mayor) You know, life still goes on. So, I’m waiting for myHSN packages to be delivered… January 28, 29, now today 30th, no package. I called the post office and asked, where are my packages? I was told the carrier felt the delivery was not safe. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!!!! I’ve been receiving my packages here for two years and have never had a problem. Not to mention I was home all day waiting for my Serena skirt and pants from Sidrid. I suspect the postal worker decided not to deliver yesterday for whatever reason, and used "unsafe" as an excuse. Now I’ve paid shipping and handling and was told by post office to come and pick up package. To no fault of HSN, I’m venting, 🙁
Postman and UPS have been leaving packages at the garage door. Front walk to front door still drifted shut. Okay by me as I’m going in and out at the garage….Ronnie
I have the same issues with the Post Office..
I’m in upstate NY..If there is even a light coating of snow on my asphalt driveway..they will not come up..and they drive Subaru Outbacks!..They leave a note for me to go pick it up the next day..which means the carrier..had the pkg. sitting in the car with him.
Funny thing..the UPS ot Fed-ex guys get up here all the time in 6 inches of snow!My driveway is 200 ft. long..and sometimes rathher than chancing driving up the walk it up!
Maybe there were too many other unsafe streets on your carrier’s route. Have you been receiving regular mail all week?
