The gift of music is so precious I would love to give my granddaughter a piano the Suzuki digital grand pianos are so beautiful and inexpensive but still a bit out of my price range but flex pay option would allow me the opportunity to provide her with a piano. Is there a way to do this for the holidays???
i think the HSN community would agree.
Welcome to The Community Lorraine01! Your granddaughter is certainly blessed to have you in her life. How old is she and is she currently taking piano lessons? If she’s totally new to piano, I know you want her first playing experiences to be good ones. From my own experience in tryiing out the Suzuki digital grand pianos I wouldn’t purchase one. Yes, the pianos themselves are quite attractive but they are not very sturdy. I was extremely disappointed in the piano playing results too. The tone was horrible and not what I would want a first time learner to think is normal or even optimal. The keyboard and pedal responses weren’t up to par either.
Through the years I have purchased a few outstanding preowned pianos including a baby grand and have been delighted with the results. If you look online or at a local piano store you may find a newer or older rebuilt one that can be financed through the store for about or close to the budgeted amount. Also, many universities sell some of their pianos once a year, many times around the holidays, for greatly discounted prices.
Lorraine01, hope you don’t mind my giving an unsolicited piano opinion! I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed and end up having to buy a second piano within a relatively short period of time.
May you and your loved ones enjoy The Holidays! Looking forward to seeing you around The Community!
