People make mistakes…
Seriously! I made a mistake on posting a thread. I thought it would be fun to talk about St. Patricks Day.
Someone could have pvt message me and say hey don’t think you can do that. But no it does not work that way
I came here to get away from stress in this insecure world. I don’t need unneeded stress.
I do have a health problem. But I will not let that stop me. I own my mistakes. That post will
go away if no one replies to it.
This feel so grade school. Aye, I don’t think so.
Just let it go!
Have a good evening everyone.
I thought you said puzzler!
Have a great evening/morning!
Wow, I did not even see the original post.
But, whatever it was, I am sorry you got piled on.
It is ridiculous whenever it happens.
So sorry, Sheba.

Ah Sheba I missed your post. At least mistakes made here are not the end of the world….Ronnie
I am alright everyone. Thank you for your concerns and advice.:smileyhappy:
All I need to do is pick myself up and start all over again.
Live and learn as they say.
Now I am so moving on.:smileyhappy:
I got roots and I got wings:womanhappy:
Sheba, sorry you are still being chastised in a thinly veiled disguise as support. The pot started being stirred when the original question was asked about the placement of the thread. And even though the issue has been resolved by HSN moderator and the original question removed and the responses removed those that find this to be a major infraction are going on and on. Yes, the rules say chit chat should be in TAY but I have seen so many chit chat posts they weren’t and nothing was said by those that feel anarchy will evolve if a post is out of it’s assigned catagory. Perhaps we should all run our posts past this committee prior to posting?
Sheba you didn’t make any mistakes…and Velveteen Rabbit asked you a question and you answered it and all was fine. Until… BUT…You didn’t do anything wrong and the thread has been "cleaned up" apparently by HSN and it’s a wonderful thread. It’s going the way you intended for it to be.
HSN does have guidelines and there are also explainations in the Welcome Getting Started forum on what forums are for and what to post where. Including on TAY. These are HSN’s guidelines. It is an "open forum" but only to the point that the guidelines need to be followed because it is HSN’s Forum. Their playing field, their rules.
But Sheba, the thread is wonderful. And I feel sure it will continue to be as St. Patrick’s Day approaches! Thanks for starting it!
As said…you did nothing wrong. the problem lies with the ‘few’ who feel they ‘own’ the boards and continue to police a public forum as if it were a…crime.
They will rail against anything that isn’t what they deem proper. This is a place for people to share..and to enjoy…and to voice opinions without the critical bystanders constantly dictating what they can and can not do…how and how NOT to correctly spell…etc.
However…that’s what forums have moderators for…ergo…HSN_Sarah who stepped in and DELETED the disrespectful ‘other’ postsers who continued to post disrespectfully EVEN AFTER her warning…only to continue their quest to be joy stealers both of ‘other’ reponders, and/or… charming posts such as yours. I believe that even after deletion…it won’t stop them nontheless. It clearly hasn’t thusfar.
I suppose WHERE you post is an even more horrid action to them, than the choice of verbiage they in turn chose in order to take people to task. How very sad indeed…
Put it to rest, dear Sheba. It is not anything that will ever affect your real life in any manner whatsoever…unless those who criticize also have a ‘time out’ corner with which to smack our fingers bare when we post in a (gasp)…IMPROPER CATEGORY!!!
 :smileyhappy:
I was always under the impression that the Mods had ultimate power! *lol*. Alas, per HSN_Sarah yesterday… ‘Regrettably we can not move any threads’.
I don’t know when the decision to take this ‘power’ away took place, but it seems this is the way it is now… and, yes, ‘regrettable’ indeed.
Thus, it is now left to us to explain to each other how the ‘Forum System’ works here and, ultimately, where a Thread belongs. As such, it puts enormous pressure on all the Posters resulting in divisiveness amongst us. And, while these things are explained in the ‘Welcome – Getting Started’ Board, I shudder to think how many Posters just jump on the Boards posting away without having ever read the ‘Guidelines’. It is equivalent to driving without a license, *lol*.
For those who say, ‘Post where you want! This is a free-forum!’, doing so will result in chaos. Which is why the Forum system was created with various ‘Boards’ to prevent such chaos. If we’re ‘free’ to post whereever we want, this will eventually degrade into ‘Fashion & Jewelry’ being posted in ‘Electronics’. ‘Electronics’ posted in ‘Beauty’. ‘Home & Crafts’ posted in ‘Health & Fitness’ ad nauseum.
As some may not realize, the underlying principle of any civilization is ‘organizaton’. HSN has provided a very decent system to keep us organized, thus ‘civilized’! *lol*
Moderators MOVE posts when then they feel they are in the wrong thread! That’s all there is to it. Your mistake was only minor, because a case indeed can be made that it should be where it is. Plus, posts in TAY do not show up in the Community board and so risk having people miss out.
I am sorry that nasty people decided to use your thread as a dancing ground, but there is nothing you can do about that. If there are violations of guidelines, you should report. If there are not – ignore. In that case, obviousy, people were out of line and their posts removed and that’s that.
Here, have a pint.
I thought this happened only to me! Pot stirring is right!! I was so turned off after that, felt like seventh grade the "same-ole" perfect people chiming in!! ..Do not add unnecessary stress to yourself, NO-ONES PERFECT!!
Sheba, you did Not make a mistake. You placed your thread where You wanted it to be. It is all personal interpretations and opinions. The moderators regulate and determine where threads should go. It is not a mistake umtil/unless the moderators say it was a mistake. – So, forget about it.
