Out of the Mouth of Babes…..
Earlier this week, my best friend’s nine year old granddaughter visited her grandmother for three days during her fall break. Visiting from out of town, the highlight of the little girl’s last two annual visits had been assembling and creating Christmas cards with her grandmother. That did not happen this year because my best friend has not received her October 5th HSN purchases. The little girl cried so inconsolably. The little girl is not mad at her favorite crafting vendor but she is very very angry with HSN. She emphatically declared, “When I grow up, I will never buy anything from HSN!”
As frustrated as I am with October 5ths delayed shipping, this situation has broken my heart and my friend’s heart.
Ohhhhh, that is sad. How disappointing for both grandma and granddaughter. :womansad: I’d have gone to the nearest craft store and purchased a few things to make cards so it wouldn’t have been a total loss. Disappointments are a part of life, as we all know. Hopefully, the little girl has bounced back by now and can look forward to next year’s visit with her grandma. I’m sure she was happy just to have spent time with her.
I would have googled the item to purchase it somewhere else
?Sorry to hear this.:smileysad:
Oh Mahora how sad :womansad: :womansad:. So sorry this happened to your best friend’s granddaughter. How sad she must of been. Because of the delay it ruined their routine together and making cards made her probably feel really special along with her time with grandmother. Hope all is well. HSN should make it “RIGHT” with your friend!
