Order to Ship Delays: Getting Longer and Longer
I’ve noticed a much longer delay in the last few months, from the date placing an order, and when that item actually ships. Most recently, I ordered an item last Monday, 9/19 and didn’t get the ship notification until Sunday, 9/25. Perhaps they should hire more warehouse staff?
If this is the new normal, everyone needs to be careful, ordering things, especially as we near the holidays, if you expect them to make it there in plenty of time.
Are others experiencing this too?
Oh holy smokes – I was thinking it was just me ! Every single order I have placed it has taken forever for it to ship. All the while we need to remember and they need to be brought to task on this…. We are paying for that item that they are dragging their feet on shipping. I am now in week number two of waiting on a TV that I had paid for to arrive. HSN does not have a clue about customer service. As soon as this TV finally arrives… it will be my last order with them and my account will be closed.
I didn’t order anything from HSN this Christmas Season after seeing all the shipping delays and issues.
I ordered from “Q” for the few things I really wanted(needed)..
My items were here within 4 business days…I did pay for straight UPS ground..My USPS guy won’t come up the driveway in winter!….Since I can’t always get out to the Post Office to pick up that Smartpost nonsense!…
I called to return 1 item..Within 3 days of them getting it back which I tracked..All the money including my UPS ground shipping was credited back to my credit card.
That’s an understatement of vast proportions! HSN shouldn’t promise something if they cannot deliver on those promises. There’s a ‘disconnect’ somewhere that needs to be corrected. I want to add that I read the message about the delays that was posted in October, but, this goes way back. :womanmad:
HSN shipping is the worst ! It often takes 3-4 days of “packageing” before something is even shipped ! There’s no excuse for this !! HIRE MORE WORKERS ;Amazon, E-Bay etc ship almost immediately and items arrive in 1 or 2 days ! Also, a customer should be told when an item will ship directly from a manufacturer and will not have an ‘Easy Return’ label. I am totally fed up and will shop elsewhere unless service improves and the shipping time becomes faster . Also, a customer should be able to request a shipper ( UPS ) NOT post office which adds another 1-2 days before delivery.
I ordered two Marla Wynn velvet pieces-topper and pant 15 November(!)-got the pant a couple days ago (about 9 December!) and the coat was cancelled today by email by HSN!! Now what am I supposed to do about having the pant without the coat? After waiting almost a month and NOW you cancel me? Another color isn’t even an option, my size is gone. Very disappointing to have a Christmas outfit and then poooff, nope, HSN decided I shouldn’t have it! sheesh Topper coat is #511-313. Only brown left in my size, brown pant not even available. Ordered black, if I had wanted brown I would have ordered brown.
They don’t need more help in the warehouse they need to tell customers the item they ordered is being shipped my someone else. I ordered the Bell and Howell tac lights for stocking stuffers right after Thanksgiving and it set in packaging three weeks. I was told it had shipped not once but twice finally got ahold of someone honest and they told me they were being shipped from another vendor.and I would get an email when it shipped. Couldn’t even tell me if I would get them in time for Christmas. They didn’t have any more information than I did. What? Then My DD ordered a baseboard buddy for her Grandmother for Christmas. It arrived short of any of the extra pads, it says you get four so she sent it back and it was resent this time she got one extra pad not two. We just kept it and said too much trouble. That ended our Christmas shopping with HSN. No product control and no communication with customers. Two not so good experiences with HSN and their customer service.
I ordered items on Oct. 5 and I have not received them to date. They finally went into shipping status on the 22nd and 24th and that is where they have been since. Tracking shows no activity. The end of next week will make a month and I will have made two flex paymenyts and no packages. I am beyond frustrated and my patience have ran dry. I shoiuld start calling in and act like I want to speak to the host to give a testimonial but really start complianing before they cut me off. I am also considering calling my bank/credit card and have them not allow any more charges from HSN. I am also considering calling the BBB and the attorney general’s office to complain.
I do not like being told by a CSR that what I am talking about is irrevlant. I am the customer and I hlep keep HSN in business. So what I have to say is relevant. If HSN is going to get someone on the phone, they need to get someone who can lie just a little bit better than what this jerk did.
Lady_Di13 yes i have noticed the shipping time, and it made me wonder if they are taking orders and then making the products…………lol
Thanks for the info corgigirl, I’m going to try QVC. Especially for my Christmas orders. I quit ordering from HSN altogether. I wouldn’t want to put orders in for my Christmas shopping and receive them like 2 months after. Hope you get your orders soon.
Hey (double diamond 270) QVC has a lot better quality in clothing and jewelry and pretty much everything. I’m sorry I ever got started with HSN
Excuses, excuses, excuses…QVC never has had this problem..hire more staff or something to get these orders out! I order a lot from you people and expect good service..

Personally, I plan to stop ordering anything due to recent shipping problems and lack of communiction \ notification from HSN.
What I’m starting to see is this:
YOUR PACKAGE WAS NOT RECEIVED AT THE UPS FACILITY AS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED. THIS MAY CAUSE A DELAY.
Is this just a ploy to divert from not actually shipping when they were supposed to? Kind of like the Mart stores on out of stock items “It’s on the Tuesday truck” ! LOL
This has happened at least 2x recently!
I had not been ordering much lately and have just started ordering again….this does not please me, with just starting to order again.
I’ve been experiencing the same thing along with everyone else. My most recent orders are shipping before my older orders and it’s starting to get frustrating. There’s some orders that I ordered that I paid in full not using flex pay. This is insane. I’m definitely going to be using QVC for everything else. I’ve never seen orders set in packaging like this. My patience has begun to wear thin.
Hsn has too many customers and can’t handle the business. In an effort to relieve their stress I will withdraw from doing business with them. I got the exact treatment and did not receive the order i placed on Oct 2 for a silhouette cameo.
