Opera Ticket in Coat Pocket
I’ve been buying way too many items from HSN to receive poor customer service. The agent acted as if she was doing me a favor by Not charging for return shipping. I ordered a coat and it arrived with two buttons missing, a large safety pin pierced through the coat to hold the tag on and an OPERA TICKET in the pocket! I’m on the East coast and the ticket was for an event on Wednesday 2/3/2016 in San Rafael, CA. Met Opera: Turandot. Well this is Not the first time I have recieved used merchandise. This month I got a crossbody bag with a dollar bill in the inside zip up pocket. For all my troubles I was given $10 in spendable cash by a supervisor when I’ve spent thousands here. One out of every four items is a return and some of these returns have been very used. Am I the only one getting returned and used merchandise??? It’s not fun here at the moment for me : (
Look at the item number on your packaging. If it says child anywhere on the label, you have received an item that has been returned. Now to be fair, there are times I pray for someone to return a sold out item, so I don’t begrudge them, as 99% of the things I have received that I knew were previously returned were in perfect condition. This is also where most of the waitlisted items come from I believe.
I hope this helps.
I don’t think I’ve ever rec’d a used item before, at least, I’ve never noticed. I don’t usually order clothes cuz I have to try them on. Sorry it happened to you.
Yikes! This is a topic all too familiar. One that sticks out above others has to do with something from Dg2. It was quite a while ago. The jeans did not fit, so they were returned. However, I was told they had been “damaged”. Problem was they were NOT damaged by me. Evidently, what I’d received had been a ‘return’ by another customer. It seems whoever had these jeans first must have cut the tag out of the jeans. Why was a ‘damaged’ item sent to another customer? My only conclusion is that quality control missed it…again. This is not an issue I’ve ever had at a ‘big box store’. :womanfrustrated:
I have been a loyal buyer from HSN since 99 and the past 3yrs it has been very frustrating. I have received things used/opened and some half empty.
I once received a Signature A collection, you know that 99.00 one that comes with that huge purse n bunch of things. Well I received the pirse with every box, except most of those were half gone! Ive received sandals used, dirty soles is key giveaway.
I received guiliana rancics jackets used and a few times sent back some of DG2s jeans….. you know if someone tries them on I dont mind, its happen to me, it fits big/small, ill send back. I wash all my new arriving fitted clothes anyways. But when you can clearly see the thigh lines and the waistband stretched….. the bottom cuffs a tad dirty, well thats when you know theyre used n worst of all filthy!!!
Heck, at least some have received a few bucks. I only receive my refund and 5.00 spendable kash cuz I used my HSN to return them.
I have started to tweet thinga because its the only way things are going to get somewhere!!!
OMG! Shopping online can be hit or miss with what you are getting. Talk about tacky!!! To wear a garment to the opera and then return it afterwards is really ignorant. If they can afford opera tickets, they should be able to afford to buy clothing and keep it.
Keep bringing things like this to HSN’s attention. Many workers do not have the ethics of the past to where they are careful with what they allow to be returned or resold. To them it’s just a job, but they need to be retaught the Golden Rule.
Now why did I think all returns would either be returned to the vendor and/or sold at HSN outlet stores, sheesh:womantongue: Quality control needs to check items thoroughly if they plan on sending them out as “new” merchandise to unsuspecting customers.
Yes, I have had that experience with items arrriving half full/used. Just make sure you put alcohol on pierced earrings before you wear them just in case. :smileysad:
I wish HSN would check items before reselling them, especially things worn on your body.
You are not alone. I can usually tell by the way the plastic wrap is on the item if it was the original or a return.
I have gotten some returned clothes that had issues and a bit of returned defective jewerly.
I would have liked to get the free opera ticket though!
