Nothing is fool proof
I got the Curtis Stone 13″ pan and loved the non stick so I thought finally. I then bought a set of Curtis Stone for my kids. Now my pan has developed lots of scratches with normal use, not even used alot. It’s also not that non stick anymore.
I fell for the hype and the testimonies. Maybe you will reply that yours is still great. Well that is great for you. But mine is not.

How old are your kids first of all and why let them use your cookware if they’re not using it properly? My sister bought a complete set of Curtis Stone’s cookware several months ago and no issues at all, perhaps because she knows how to correctly use them!
I think she said she bought a set FOR her kids no that they were using hers.
Are you careful to follow the manufacturer’s directions on how to care for the cookware, ie, no metal utensils, etc.?
Several other people here on the forums have also reported this issue about the interiors getting very scratched using only non metal utensils.
No my kids are grown. I got them a set. I still love my Curtis Stone pan. It is the most non stick pan I have ever used.
I’m just very dismayed that it has lots of scratches from using wooden tools.
I washed it really well and it isn’t as non stick but it is still the best non stick pan I have ever owned.
The best way to solve this problem is: stainless steel cookware or cast iron. No worries of coating scratching or coming off! A lot healthy too!
