MISLEADING SELLING – CAUTION!!!!
HSN IS DECEPTIVE IN THEIR SELLING PRACTICES. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THEY ARE MAILING ITEMS THAT REQUIRE A SIGNATURE AHEAD OF TIME WHICH ULTIMATELY END UP BEING NOT DELIVERED AND THEY WILL NOT ASSIST ON MAKING ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE – NOT!!!!
BUYS – BE WARE. HSN DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS, SERVICE, NOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.
You do realize UPS will redeliver, right? Driving 30 miles to pick up a package was a personal choice.
How is HSN not standing by their produts, service or their customers? And I’ve never had to sign for anything I’ve ever ordered from HSN…yet! Also, you can track your shipments in the Orders secton and tell fairly accurately when your package will be delivered so that someone might be home to sign for it. Or for future orders you could arrange for packages to be delivered to a different address where someone would be available to sign. There are many ways to solve this…
How is it deceptive? I mean, I can see how it is – inconsiderate, inconvenient, – but DECEPTIVE?
I think the word ‘sell’ is synonymous with the word ‘misleading.’
Nana7211 It could be worse. My wife had a $ 1600 plus gold neckless with signature required for it. UPS dropped off on the porch when we were not home without someone signing for it. The small package lay out for all to see all day and why it wasn’t stolen is anyone’s guess…….Ronnie
This was the HP TS 17.5 laptop. Was on the phone already to HSN and UPS for over 40 minutes. If I have to drive 30 miles to pick up package, what is the benefit of shopping on line?
nana7211, there are items that ship directly from our partners that may require a signature upon receipt. I’d be glad to check into this for you. Can you tell me the item?
