Is anyone else disappointed in Yummie by heather?
I purchased what hsn called a "value pack" (which was NOT any kind of a value by the way!) of under garments & a tank top. 1st of all, the sizing is NOT "true to size" as she claims, I found they ran very big; and 2nd I was disappointed in the ‘quality’ of the garments, I found them to be very POORLY/CHEAPLY made, especially for the price of the items! All of the ‘reviews’ talk about the sizing issues & poor quality of the products, I should have read them before buying! (And when Heather said to one of the incoming callers that "she’s not trying to sell us anything" .. I’m not sure what she means because wasn’t she on tv trying to sell her products? She strikes me as ‘fake & phony’ and I don’t like that about her)
I just got my tanks and bras today..going back . I couldnt get the tank off of me. I am normally a small but went to m/l and still skin tight. bras were horrible. The foam pads were all crushed. never again.
You are aware the tanks are compression shapewear, they are supposed to be skin tight. You can step out of them if that’s easier. I have never tried the bras but I usually order a S/M in the tanks and haven’t had any problems (I’m not super busty though). I didn’t order the T/S this time.
I tried the tank. I had a rough time removing it. It didn’t do anything but flatten my chest. You can only wear Yummi bras with the tanks and I own many pretty pin up bras from Rhonda Sheer. Impossible to wear together. The bras give me a gorgeous full shape and lift. I would rather wear looser clothes than this or any shape wear. If I have to wear a dress or skirt for an occasion I wear control top panty hose. Does the trick. I can’t imagine shape wear in the summer because its too hot. There’s so many pretty clothes that compliment our bodies and as I get older its comfort that’s number one in my life. Good clothes like jeans and leggings have built in shaping. Last thing I want is layers. The leggings look cute but that’s the only thing that I would try alone with a t-shirt or sweater with boots. Then again they look really tight. I would have to try them. I don’t need shaping underwear under jeans. I doubt its going to be comfy. I like cotton undies really because nylon is itchy.
I purchased the leggings when they were a TSV I am very pleased with them, This week I ordered the TSV.
I love, love, love the Yummie line. The leggings are the best ones I’ve ever owned. The fabric is high quality, the correct weight and don’t bag at the knees or roll down at the waist. You need to size up in the leggings and once I got the correct size I ordered 2 more. The yoga pants are just as fabulous but need to be a little longer for those of us with longer legs. I ordered the yoga pants in my leggings size and I should have gotten my true size but kept them and again no rolling or bagging out in the knees. I wanted to try the recent TS but my size and color sold out. If you haven’t tried the leggings or yoga pants you should I think you’ll be hooked.
Of my purchases, I wear one of the tanks regularly, because is it a layering item. It is tight and can’t be worn on its own. A prior purchase was a clearance item and too large, but I didn’t return it, and have not worn it. Usually a top is not too large on top for me. Like the idea of the line, but it is pricey. I did not get the TS, but was very tempted.
