She just said…
You have all these tops and no jeans that fit.
I’m the opposite,I have all these jeans and no tops that fit properly.
Please bring in tops you can tuck in with a belt.
These big sloppy tops have got to go!
? tee hee:heart: now, i know some men like it, but i cover a bit in leggings. here’s a shout out to sir mix a lot… nik
I used to buy and wear bodysuits a lot. That was the only time I looked tucked in. Over the last several years I stopped with the tucking. Not looking so good for me.
hi all ! you all sound so cute! i love the varity. i will say though, that i do need a longer top when wearing leggings, because “baby got back” (a little bit). but i look best in tailored clothes.
but, so just keeping track: color-coded closet, mid to high maintenance, weird stain maker, no to the cold shoulder and shark-bite hem look, women are all present and accounted for?
let me hear ya say, “heeeeeeeeyyyyyy!” :catvery-happy: :heart:you all, nik
It doesn’t affect me either way, since I look like a kid. But how nice would it be to see form-fitting tuckable tops without getting rid of the long tops? Different body types look better in different shirt styles, in my opinion.
I’m over 6 ft tall, am short waisted and am Apple shaped (meaning all my weight is carried in my mid-section) as well as being very large busted. Tucking my shirt in or wearing any shirt that is not at least hip length is a huge no-no. In my world, I can’t find any shirts because they’re all too short and/or made to tuck in (and people do).
To say that those of us who don’t wear tucked in or fitted shirts look like slobs is rude and small minded; not everyone is able to like you. Do I wish I could? Yes. But my body type is NOT flattered by that look in any way.
? ? ohhh i totally agree. i can’t stand all of these shark-bite hems, big flowy, high- low tops!!!!!! also, i HATE the cold shoulder look and the draped shoulder. everything is so baggy and hard to tuck in. i am so glad that i am not the only one.:catvery-happy: thank you for posting this. whew!!! glad to get that off my chest.:catwink:
I also am the opposite of Iman’s comment.
I also agree with you, jmc1365, I am so tired of all the big sloppy tops. Besides, it just makes you look like you have put on weight, certainly not figure flattering. I would like to look feminine and not all bagged out. I refuse to wear regular t-shirts as well. To me, if it looks like a guy’s shirt, then let the guy wear it. But even then, guys would look nicer if they wore clothing that actually fit them as well.
Both women and men need to return to the well-dressed years of tucking in shirts and belting jeans/pants. At least at special events. I am all for comfort, but in today’s world, everyone wants to stay in their loungewear and even pajamas when going out in public. How lazy and tacky is that?!
