IF YOU PLAN ON MOVING…BEWARE!
We just relocated. We have been customers for years. There are many items on "auto-ship" and a few things on flex-pay. HOWEVER, unknown to us is the fact that whoever lived here before we did had a bad debt with HSN. This put a "block" on our account! It’s taken a week to get this resolved. This has created numerous issues. I can understand HSN being cautious, yet, this was far overboard. To date: I still have a package ‘out there somewhere’ that will be coming by UPS. Yet, no tracking number has been assigned yet (it’s in packaging), it’s set to be delivered to the old address. Now, it is up to me to pay close attention to when the tracking number finally is assigned.
Come on folks, it’s the 21st century. PLEASE, find a workable solution so loyal customers do not have to deal with this kind of hassle. Moving is stressful enough without adding any additional issues.
L4P, thank you for starting this thread. Over the years there have been many people posting about this issue who have never been able to get the situation resolved. I hope you get your order soon and do not have any further problems. I wonder how many new customers this has happened to?
I guess that it is a good thing that the previous occupant of my home did not shop at HSN. When I first moved in, there were numerous letters coming for them from collection agencies. I had to keep returning them to sender and finally they have stopped coming here.
It really does stink!
It’s just another example of having to pay
for another one’s actions you have nothing to do with
Wishing you all the best in your new home!
Hello , what you have experienced with your new address sounds like an inconvenience. I’m glad things are getting resolved. If you need any assistance, please let me know. (Candace)
