i really miss CAROLYN STRAUSS STUDIOS
I recently went through my closet, fortunately I have worn the same size (6-8 or small, give or take cut) for 20 years. I decided to ‘color coordinate’ everything on Joy’s hangars and I came across some CSS labels (sets) that fit perfect and I love them….haven’t worn them in ages. Then I remembered Carolyn Strauss is no longer sold on HSN. Love Antthony ….enjoy his presentations and recently purchased a number of harem pants…….also love Slinky but the quality of Slinky has changed and Antthony doesn’t seems to be on as often as Slinky. On QVC I love Susan Graver because I love the acrylic/poly type fabric that is so easy to wear and wash and travel with. I buy her tops but her bottoms are ordinary. Everyone has a favorite……..I should have realized CSS was mine and purchased more at the time…….now I can’t find her anywhere……..oh well……lesson well learned!
She has a website up I found it today. Lots of outfits all $9.99. I ordered 5 outfits for$50. I think it is ***. Yea!

I also miss Carolyn. Infact I’m wearing a pair of her crop pants today. Her clothes were made well.
Remember Maggie Sweet and Terry Lewis!!! Also I loved Cervelle. Ahhh the “Good Old Days” on HSN!!! I also loved the “old” Diane Gilman line of clothing back then. She had some amazing jogging outfits.
I own a good amount of Carolyn Strauss clothing and I miss her too. I don’t do Facebook or Tweeter but I was able to read some of her FB postings without needing to log-in.
In March of this year she stated that she is no longer in the apparel business, her line is no longer hers and she has moved on to her passion for speaking to audiences at corporate and association events.
Remember when she would read a poem to us during the Today’s Specials? In that tradition she posted a poem on FB. I could read only part of it.
“A New Year’s Prayer for 2016- May your experience of being human be an adventure for your spirit
May the calling of your soul be crystal clear so you hear it….”
She also said something last November during “Black Friday” that I think we can appreciate, I know I do: “I’m hoping you all know that you always already have more than enough! Be safe. Spend wisely. Have fun.”
A special lady. A special lady indeed. God Bless her.
Check out her facebook page. There is some interesting
information about her CSC Studio/ clothing line.
I miss her clothing line too.
I’m just glad I got what I got & it still fits!
Graver is a joke. Her crapola is way over priced, she constantly kicks her leg up behind her trying to appear extra cute, and her clothing is not consistently sized…PLUS it’s all the same ol junk in different patterns, long, wide shirts, pants that are NEVER long enough and dresses for 80 yr olds.
Carolyn I too MISS TO PIECES. She was terrific, talented, and reasonably priced.
I miss her. I miss Terri Lewis, and even Randolph Duke. But most of all Carolyn.
I own a ton of her things, and have given away a lot of hers too to family and friends when I’ve lost a ton of weight.
She was inspirational, and smart. I hope she’s doing well wherever she is.
I miss her too. Susan is too expensive for me most of the time but I love her liquid knit. I splurge once a year on her.
