HSN is not neutral and is somewhat sexist – I am over it….
Greetings to all,
First, I am male US NAVY Veteran. (younger, 36 years old). I have been using HSN for numerous years and numerous things, I do like some of the deals on here. However, it seems to be more appealing to the females. For example – currently the Landcome being advertised and sold on HSN is ONLY appealing to those (i.e. females) that use those items. https://www.hsn.com/shop/lancome/2810?sourcemailid=emded20180210a&utm_source=special_offers&utm_medium=email&utm_content=banlancome&utm_campaign=emded20180210a&cm_mmc=Email-_-special_offers-_-emded20180210a-_-banlancome&cm_mmca1=C000010189&cm_mmca2=001564158&cm_mmca3=62E83111C61B44B6964CA6AE62D654F1&cm_mmca4=&cm_mmca5= Landcome makes mens things as well. Numerous other companies that HSN uses does have gender neutral but HSN will not advertise them or they specifically are targeting only a specific sex or targeted population. I challenge you as the consumer to watch the broadcasts, emails, and other advertisements to see how this relates and is true.
You are right. I’m sure the majority of watchers are women and that’s who they cater to. Maybe if you and other men let HSN know there is a male audience out there, maybe they would change their policy of women only. I, myself, had no idea men watched except I have heard men call Joan Boyce when she was on but they were buying for their wives.
