Have you ever been shopping for something & the sales person following you
How does that make you feel? Its like buying a car and the sales person follows you nagging, purchase furniture and the sales person follows you. Shopping on HSN and the pop ups follow you nagging you to sign up for emails or sign up for the credit card.
What is a person to do. I would normally just leave and never return, If I just wanted to shop without someone nagging me and following me.
PLEASE HSN stop the nagging with the pop up screens. I am tired of it and want to shop without someone or something nagging me and bothering me.
Please before I choose to stop shopping with this site. I am tired of all the pop ups and the unwanted emails.
So many changes to our online experience here!
Maybe since the QVC takeover is a done deal now, future changes will have a less frenetic feel to them and more thoughtful, well-planned and tested changes will follow from this point. A girl can dream!!
Sorry my error… Did not read you post carefully….
That’s funny… My experience is not finding a sales person to help..
Totally agree. So irritating. I have reduced my viewing on the HSN website because of all of the pop ups. I am so tired of all of the banners “ask the expert”, etc. which pop up when I am trying to go to the arcade or into one of the forums. Too, not only do I have to deal with the pop ups on HSN, but whatever I view on HSN “folllows” me to other sites. If I elected not to purchase something while viewing it on HSN, forcing me to be followed by pop ups to other sites will not induce me to purchase the item. This tacit is annoying to say the least, and clogs my computer at best, even with taking all precautions available to prevent “cookies” from attaching. HSN will not allow me to view items if I don’t allow them to attach cookies. My solution …… I am going to delete HSN from my computer, even though I enjoy looking at the merchandise and purchasing frequently. The process has become more aggravating than pleasure. Requesting “unsubscribing” classification has proved futile in my case. I still get unwanted emails from HSN. What to do, what to do…….guess just leave HSN……..
I totally agree and have been trying for months to have these stopped as well as the emails that drive me out of my mind and clog up my email page. When I ‘Unsubscribe’ I ask them to please stop sending me their annoying emails but they pay no attention. Maybe someone will read these posts???????
I ALSO AGREE ABOUT THE POP UPS. MY TIME IS VALUABLE.
ABOUT THE OTHER, I LEAVE WHEN A SALES PERSON STALKS ME. I ALWAYS WONDER IF THEY THINK I’M A SHOPLIFTER. HOWEVER THE WORST (AND MY SIS RECENTLY TOLD ME SHE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN) WAS WHEN I’D GO INTO A DOWNTOWN STORE’S DRESSING ROOM TO TRY ON CLOTHES & AFTER A FEW MINUTES, THE SALES CLERK WOULD THROW OPEN THE DOOR FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE ME IN MY UNDERWEAR!! I WAS ALWAYS SHOCKED & HUMILIATED & TOO YOUNG AT THE TIME TO TELL HER TO GET LOST. AGAIN, IN RETROSPECT, WAS SHE THINKING I WAS A SHOPLIFTER? I WAS A PROFESSIONALLY DRESSED SECRETARY – NOT A LOW-LIFE! (I DONT GO TO THOSE TYPES OF STORES ANY MORE)
I couldn’t agree more.
