GLEN FREY RIP
SORRY TO HEAR GLEN FREY PASSED AWAY AT 67
Oh how sad :womansad: I had no idea. Thank you so much Loaf. This is a good reason why I love the Forums…all of you (my friends) have such a good heart, caring, and keeping up with VERY IMPORTANT TOPICS, and then sharing with all of us. Glen will be missed. How I loved the Eagles’. So many wonderful songs, Desperado (1973), Hotel California (1976), The One I Love, Take it easy (1972), Lyin Eyes (1975), Best of My Love, One of These Nights (1975), Heartache Tonight (1979), and Tequila Sunrise (1973), New Kid in Town (1976), the list goes on-and-on. Such a talented and I might also say,
"VERY GOOD LOOKING MAN"… :womantongue: Everytime I hear one of their songs reminds me of the most cherishable moments of my LIFE….THE GOOD OLE’ 70’S…fun years.
R.I.P. Glen…..and may perpetual light shine upon you!
Originally being from Detroit, I remember him well. He did some gigs with Bob Seger. Glenn Frey was also with thousands of us… a very loud enthusiastic crowd seeing the Beatles at Olympia Stadium,(Detroit) in 1964. An amazing talent. His musical legacy will live on. He was an absolute genius. RIP Glenn you won’t be forgotten.
I am so sad to hear of Glenn’s passing. I pray he went in peace. My heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends, and band members of the Eagles.
In tribute, Glenn, let me just say that my 2nd-favourite album of all time is the Eagles’ Desperado. I know, (from your documentary), that you didn’t care for the way the record was produced. I think you said the vocals were too ‘tinny’ for your liking, or something to that effect… that you were dissatisfied with the outcome. Yet, to me, this album is nothing short of ‘genius’.
You will be SO missed… and SO remembered. Thank you for your music, your acting, your presence on the planet. You bought us such joy, Glenn. RIP.
Now, go rock Heaven!
I as well. Such talent. Heaven must have a great rock and roll. I pray they have their privacy. What a loss! Rest in peace my friend. Tori
 RIP
So sad that the eagles delayed their Kennedy Center Honor opting to wait until Glen Frey had recovered to accept. Too bad they weren’t included sooner while he was still able to participate.
So sad and what a great loss…………
HE WAS THE FOUNDER OF THE EAGLES
