George Simonton, Please!!
Now that George is no longer on “that other channel”, it would be wonderful for HSN to bring him on board. His clothes are made to fit a woman’s body and his styles are classic and timeless. I wear his ponte knit skirts and dresses all the time and find that no other designer is really doing what George does. Ladies??
George Simonton would a great addition to HSN.
Only one suggestion for him. Stop using low quality thin knit material. I’d pay a little more for clothing that has body.
HSN should definitely consider this. However, is he thinking about retiring? I’d also like them to bring Lisa Robertson to HSN. She has some beautiful jewelry pieces, and I’m not even a jewelry wearer. She’s introducing handbags soon and Christmas decorations. I believe Lisa’s things would catch on like wildfire on HSN.
Since the new CEO Mindy took over, I’ve slowly switched nearly all my shopping from QVC to HSN. QVC never discounts. They will keep something for years before they drop the price even 20%. I get so many bargains on HSN items. QVC also has some nice vendors, but they haven’t introduced many new ones. HSN has been transformed into a collection of boutiques. I used to buy Clarks shoes from QVC, but now I get Sporto boots and Naturalizer shoes from HSN. I can’t remember the last time I bought shoes from QVC. Sporto’s boots are waterproof/resistant while the Clarks at QVC rarely are. The only thing I buy from QVC now is Wen when it’s a TSV once or twice a year.
I wish Mindy Grossman would consider launching a Lisa Robertson line.
I agree. George makes fabulous clothes. I was very sorry to see him leave.
