Dear Fashionistas ~ ONCE in a lifetime shopping spree
Where would you start your once in a lifetime shopping spree? I’d start in one of my favorite shoe stores first! What about you?
I would buy Atthony Originals I love his styles:)
Thank you for asking and where would you go first?:)
Peace and love to all,
What a fun question! I’d be buying jewelry and other accessories first! I know I’d be getting some larger Heidi Daus necklaces and probably several nice bags.
Tod’s driving mocs in all colors, Gucci bag,Tag Heur watch & a Rolex, Hermes bag & several scarves…. OH MY…… Now I am stumped….. and I only just begun!!!!! I would love to go to Italy to shop………
And my Dior choker scarves in blush & black
A few of my YSL Mombasa Horn bags
A fashion house dealing in leather outfits. My first selection would be a navy/midnight blue leather skirt suit. Then a matching sheath dress. It’s fun to dream isn’t it?
Oh my goodness!!!!
My once in a lifetime shopping spree doesn’t stop with clothing, handbags, but it also includes shoes!!
Here’s something I found interesting! There’s a market for everything!!!
Undercover leather glove clutch all in one! LOL. Don’t think I’d buy this with my shopping spree opportunity.
actually, i would start right here at hsn!!! and, yes, i would shop til i dropped!!!
i would also match every penny that i spend on hsn and give the same amount to st. jude
when it comes holiday time here at hsn’s st. jude charity drive.
let’s pray that together we can all beat the beast that is cancer. xoxo
then, i would hit up chanel for a couple of handbags- one can never have too many of those.
a stop by fendi.
a little dolce and louis vuitton never hurt the spirit.
also, i’m with velvet and the rest of the gang when it comes to london and lunch at harrods.
then, i would go to paris and just walk the streets eating a freshly baked baguette- maybe with brie and a raspberry jam or with cheese and jambon (french ham) and pop in to whichever little store/boutique i would want to go see.
and, lastly, especially since i live in a climate whereby i can wear fur, i would go hit up some nyc or italian furriers and i would wear my “good stuff” ALL the time- even with sneakers.
just love it!!!
cheers to dreams, great shopping and making wishes come true.
and, always remember to keep reaching for stars, you just might catch one …xoxo
Well if it’s only once in a lifetime I’d have to make it last my lifetime.
So I’d have to hit everyone of the top tier iconic, classic, tried & true, glamourous, most coveted, highest ticket prices (comes w/ the territory), staying power style setters for everything I will ever need, want, or desire.
Some gowns from Dior, Valentino, Balmain. Leather goods, shoes, bags, luggage sets, lots of accessories: Hermes, YSL, Prada, Gucci, Chanel, LV. Cashmere: Rubinacci. Pants (my perfect fit): Dolce & Gabbana.
3rd pieces: Voyage. Everything Pucci. Jewels: Bulgari, Boucheron, Cartier, Pomelato, Van Cleef & Arpel, Steven Webster, Buccelati. My house, one of them, featured in Architectural Digest…no make that the cover
Oh forget it… I can’t play in this sandbox.
I’m not a masochist.
And I don’t have time to write a short story nor the inclinination for self deprevation or torture. Nor do I have any SELF CONTROL…obviously.
Great idea tho!
?, these are the boots I decided on. I can’t remember the thread where you showed us all of your beautiful Stuart W’s. This is a Donald J. that I purchased from Nordies and am waiting on.
?, what an interesting topic! I would start my shopping spree at a home decor store.:womanhappy:
If someone else was paying for the shopping spree
I have been to this store many times in Dallas , NYC and of course Charlotte.
I love their top of the line merchandise , I would pick a day when they were having one of their renowned fashion designers trunk shows . They have awesome various leading REAL fashion designers and jewelry trunk shows . I love those , plus the facial and spa events .
Yep , I would go early and stay late to Neiman Marcus and shop shop shop!
I’ve always loved vintage and antique pieces, especially designer leather goods, along with jewelry, art, books, textiles, and furniture. That means I’d love to hit the Paris and London flea markets, as well as the auction houses. Breath-taking embroidered clothing! Floor length feather skirts! I’d also love to hit the Tucson gem show with an unlimited budget!
If I was limited to home (one of the most beautiful, but poorest counties in the state), I’d start at Saint Vincent de Paul, Goodwill, and finish at The Dollar Store! This is why I mainly shop on-line or when I travel!
p.s. Anyone who caught the documentary on Iris Apfel, her collections and her apartment, has a clue to my eclectic taste. The fabrics and textiles used in decorating and clothing were absolutely fabulous!
