Customer / consumer deception?
This really makes me mad! when i buy something from TV – I fully expect all the details INCLUDING any warmings. IF I am paying for S&H on those, I would feel cheated.
details: Full disclosure – I do not like Joy / her tactics to sell as I have been burnt before from her products.
Luggage ensamble with spinball wheels
I travel a lot and was CONSIDERING the product above – but, thank god, I did not fall for the sales pitch and did not get it. BUT I was reading the reviews and was flabbergasted. IT COMES WITH A PROP65 warning which can cause cancer.
Now my question is – if i look at any ads on TV, they specify the warnings/ danger using that particular product which accounts for a full disclosure. if someone still wants to use the product, the liability is on them since they chose to buy the product even after learning the good / bad/ ugly.
for the above mentioned joy;s product, no warnings are displayed on TV while the item is on air, hosts dont talk about it and EVEN ON HSN WEBSITE, it doesnt contain the warning!
so what gives? IF i paid 10 bucks for S&H and see the warning once it arrives home, am I a sucker to lose the 10 bucks to send the crap back as it has potential to cause cancer?
HSN, PLEASE treat your customers with respect and give us FULL DISCLOSURE. if someone still buys it, its their choice…. but i felt really sad and YES I NEVER EVER WILL PURCHASE ANOTHER JOY product.
And the carry-on is NOT carry-on size. That is the part that got me. Both Shannon and Joy made a big deal about this being a carry-on piece of luggage Dimensions indicate otherwise.
I just posted on another conversation regarding JOY MANGANO. The only posts I have ever done on HSn community are disappointment with JOY MANGANO products. Let’s face it people..JOY AND HSN are not listening..they have become too greedy and thi nk we are stupid enough as so called LOYAL JOY M fans. They know that the hype they use about her innovative products will make people buy them…it is just that the actual long time Joy fans are beginning to be literally burned too many times from her cheap, badly made and now dangerous products. Attention JOY MANGANO LOYALISTS..time to give up on her. JOY M doesn’t care about her loyal customers anymore…it is only about the money. So sad.
Yep!!!!! Returned all three boxes the same day I received them.. Thank goodness the inboxed were placed in plastic insert outside of box.. My husband was not about to have any chemical weird smells or get it close to him., he is undergoing chemo right now for cancer.. Not happy!! 🙁
I was following all of the negative reviews because I purchased the luggage TSV along with 2 additional pieces. They must have really accumulated because HSN took the page down. I think there will be a lot more backlash in the days to come over this Huge Miss.
