I was able to be with hubby this evening. Yesterday I spent almost 2 hours trying to navigate 3 steps from the front door. I finally gave up and made a call to the Rehab and left word with our favorite aide. He will be back Monday and Tuesday. Today, was a better day. The steps are steep and no amount of leaning on the railing helped. The pain was, well let’s just say I can take a lot of pain, but this one I could not do a thing. To think it is all weather related.

I am glad you are having a fit of laughter. However, many years ago, when I was single and still in school, we had a poodle named Corky. He loved my dad and would follow him everywhere. One morning Dad was up early and getting ready for the day at his pharmacy. Corky followed him into the bathroom and watched dad use the toilet. He whined and whined which meant he needed to go out and so dad let him out back. The only problem is that it was not only wet out there, but it was snowing pretty hard. Corky made a mad dash back into the house. Dad thought that was the end of everything and that Corky could wait for either me or Mom to let him out. That wasn’t the case. He made a mad dash to the bathroom and made a puddle next to the toilet. He did this every time he didn’t want to go outside. He also used it when he wasn’t feeling that great. I smile every time I think of his little adventure. Best of all, an easy cleanup.

Today actually was a good day for me. Finally, no leg pain. Tomorrow?? Well, that’s to be decided. Today we were in the low 70s and right now it is 68 as I type. At least that’s what the computer states. The forecast for Sunday is mid 70s and then in the afternoon we will have some thunder and lightning and some rain which we desperately need. I have no idea what I will feel. Suffice to say that our temps from the mid 70s will go down to the upper 30s to low 40s. Not sure if we will see 60s during the week since another cold front will be here on Tuesday. We will not see 70s until next weekend and that will be short lived as well. I cannot complain. The water temps are low which means no hurricanes. Strong winds, maybe.

The cakes yesterday were fantastic. Best of all, I didn’t gain any weight…..😀🍾🎁🍧🎹🎵🎭birthday🎭 think I had a slice from everyone. No favorites. They were all different so could not pick one.

Have a great evening and hope the kitties use their shed during the cold spell. Again, thank you for the birthday wishes and treats. It’s so much fun to sit back and enjoy the moments.

Sheba, You have great taste. That’s a lovely set. I think that makes #1 and #2. I’m sure it isn’t easy to pick a favorite. 18 years of collecting is amazing. I look at most jewelry from afar these days, except for a piece here and there.
Hope that the cats and Poppy are staying warm.
