All is well in the ‘burgh. Just got back from my appointment and a quick stop at the grocery store. Making hamburgers for dinner with some kind of side.🍔

The US weather is nuts!!! Snow in Florida, Houston, Georgia, New Orleans, wow! So much for going south for the winter this year.

I did hear from sis, they are having a wonderful time. Mom already went shopping and bought a few outfits.👗👚 The casino has not been generous, so far.🎰🤑

Don’t work too hard on your projects. Happy all your kitties are fed and safe.💗 Since we can’t rely on the weather, stay warm with hugs from me and Jake.🤗💖

It is a cold morning and afternoon in Florida. We are still getting rain with the temps in the mid 40s. Warmup here will not begin until Sunday when the forecast is in the 70s and 50s at night. From what I have read, those temps will be here all next week. Maybe it’s time to get our lanai in order. Once a year I empty the lanai completely and wash the walls and screens inside and out. The floor also is included and all wooden areas. The job will take at least two days. I even wash the wicker furniture and all others before returning them to their rightful place. I actually want this area to be spic and span for when hubby returns. He enjoys sitting in the lanai and watching the birds in our lake.

The Pan Handle and other parts of Florida had a huge snow event. Five to eight inches have been reported. That Interstate 10 corridor is what we use to travel to I-95 from I-75 North. If we watch the exits correctly, it brings us almost to the beginning of Georgia. It’s always a mix up because the exit ramp just states Daytona and thus we end up going through the downtown area of Jacksonville which adds another 30 miles or more to the mix. Never mind the time it takes to get to our first hotel in Georgia.

I don’t know if you heard the news about Costco. Seems that the first week of February there may be a strike. This strike may close down the Warehouses since most of their employees will be impacted. And speaking of food. I did venture into Aldi’s. Primary purpose was to purchase bottled water. I also needed eggs, but received a shock that a dozen was now $4.17 (ouch) and there was a limit of 2 cartons.

Today is for the Farmer’s Market. Hubby is asking for something from their homemade bakery area. All I want is their homemade clam chowder. Hubby asked for their squash soup. I still do not have a stove top. I do have a slow cooker, however, since we do not have a basement, it is out in the shed. Too cold to go out there since it isn’t heated. Looks like I will need to wait until Sunday for that issue to get resolved. I am trying to avoid a new stove, but it looks like that will be the only choice and to think that this oven is not quite three years old. The stove glass top has a huge crack from one end to another. Nothing fell. I am wondering if it was caused by one of the new pans or pots.
