@kittengirl …. Not even my Hubby has watched it and he watches Everything funny. He says it must be an early one, we’ll have to look it up, we could use some laughs from time to time. Yes, Cali is a huge state and you can drive for hours and hours just to get somewhere. It is very expensive to live here, especially when we are supporting our daughter until she is through with school. Running two households on retirement is not easy. My hubby retired early, he was forced into it. Cali is not retirement friendly but at least we have paid off our home. If we stay here, we will buy a summer home somewhere and winter here. So much is undecided until daughter finishes college. Would love to live near my kids. You have a good night and get your rest. 😀

@taci, Yes we moved and then moved back. Now we are ready to move again. We are waiting until our daughter finishes up in college since we are supporting her so she can finish. My hubby was forced into an early retirement when he got sick a few years ago and needed three surgeries. Depending on where our kids settle, we will decide then where we are going.
Those fires are so scary! I remember one year when I was pregnant (long time ago), the fires had us all surrounded and I couldn’t get home. I stayed at my parents. Hubby drove all around the hills the next day when it died down to get me. As a child, I remember my dad up on the roof hosing it off while the fires raged in the hills behind us. Scary times. I’m glad you were able to get through and you had a safe trip.

We passed by a fire on the drive home in Ca off the freeway. It was fairly large with helicopters dropping water and a lot of firemen on the ground working so hard to put it out.

I hope you left a place up high for Jonnie or maybe a purse to hide in?

No have not tried the Laundry Soap yet. I have some Nellie’s my daughter brought for me.
Believe me I plan to try the Beekman 1802 soon. I do have the soap set with the creme
and I love it. I am about to take a shower with it. It really feels soft. I also brought the 4
facial wipes which I love. ♥ I am sure more will come at a future date. So far I am loving
them. ♥

Hey did you try your Andrew Lessman Marine Collagen Peptides yet? You asked me if it upset the
stomach and it does not upset my stomach. Cherie uses the product also. I take mine with
water. You may want to put some in a smoothie or whatever morning drink you have. 🙂
Yes Loaf and Mcpoopoo lived in the same City. I often wish they could have met.
It looks like you and Cherie and Taci all stay in the state of Cali. You can live many miles
away. I saw the image of the father and son trying to outrun a fire. Wow never a dull moment
in Cali. I still love it. I am afraid just for Vacation only. I could not afford to live like I would want.

@Sheba, No, I did not realize loaf and Mcpoopoo lived in the same city. That is too bad they were not able to meet, they would have had fun. I know you are missing her a lot.
Yes, it cooled down a little, high only 102 today. It has been humid too which makes no sense since the fires are creating air quality woes.
I finally tried on my jacket last night. It’s really cute and the fit is really nice but I’m undecided. The stitching is a little wonky near one of the shoulders. I’m sure if I had ordered black it wouldn’t even be noticeable. If I exchange, there is no guarantee the replacement won’t have a problem or fit the same. Also, I didn’t realize it is dry clean. It’s so cute though and fits nice so maybe no one else will see the wonky stitching. I didn’t see it when I had it on, only saw it when I put it on the hanger. I ordered the deep purple and it’s really pretty.
Did you get any of the Beekman 1802 laundry soap? I still have lots of Nellie’s but may get the dryer balls and essential oils.

@Cherie, Your Hubby sounds like a great guy then! LOL! I take it you are considering AZ or TX? We have too but it’s so hot. I love having seasons, especially fall. I love wearing sweaters, jackets, boots, scarves, and generally not sweating! We moved from CA (LA) to WA for 1 yr but came back and settled here where we are now and it is so hot. We have two seasons: fog and . But now we don’t even get much fog anymore. And yes, I blame Governor Moonbeam for that too! I blame him for EVERYTHING! Lol! When we lived in WA it was so pretty. We lived right near the water and walked every weekend at the town’s marina and park but we hated living there. If you have ever watched Funny Farm with Chevy Chase, that was our life – right down to the Irish Setter running wild for days on end and the mailman, OMG! Makes for a funny movie but not when you are living it. You’ve got to see the movie if you haven’t already!
