It really bothers me when people give an item a one star review when the review has nothing to do with the specific item they posted the review on. I have read many one star reviews stating “I don’t know never recieved item” or “HSN sent me wrong item” those reviews have nothing to do with that item. It’s not fair for the vendors to receive those kind of reviews for their items.
I agree with you. Or the reviews with 1 or 2 stars without saying what the problem was with that particular item. Yet, many reviewers give specifics. You can see after a bit who is giving significant information. This is extremely helpful in making a determination to make the purchase, or if our usual size needs to be adjusted.
Also bothers me when people review something before washing and wearing/using it.
Like Joy’s luggage- people will say how great it looks and give it 5 stars then you read a low review and it says it fell apart on the first trip!
Or sheets pilling after first wash while others raved before even using them…..
I only give reviews after I have had the product either for a few months and have used it regularly, or maybe longer. I explain my experiences with the product. I bought Ming Tsai’s cookware. I reviewed after 4 months of using it. No point reviewing something when you first receive it, it is always shiny and new and looks great, the proof is in the using. I don’t buy any cookware from any Chef endorsed products on HSN anymore, just good quality pieces that cost more but are worth every penny.
So important to post positive, and negative reviews, explaining why, or why not you like product.
I do rely on buying many for those reviews…
I have always felt that one should not be able to review a product or item until after the 30/60/90 day return period. This way an honest review can be made. Especially with beauty and nutritional supplements. 🙋🏻❤️
