Any Bahama Travelers??
Leaving June 2 for the Bahamas and I have never been there.
Does anyone have any words of advice that would be helpful?
Going to celebrate my sons 30 B-day with my family and 78 yr.old mother.
Of course, I’m freaked out about flying that I’m already nervous 5 days before.
Not to mention, the Birthday boy is recovering from an emergency appendectomy,
that was performed 2 days ago.Dr. cleared him to travel! My nerves are shot and he’s just fine!
City???(poster that’s is a stewardess)….are you reading?I’ll be fine!!! with the flying part…right??
Would appreciate any advice…thanks!
I have not yet been to the Bahamas, but I have been to several caribbean islands and it always seems like each one has certain things that are really good duty free deals. If you plan on shopping I would suggest researching that.
I also do not enjoy flying the way I used to. I find that once I am on the plane I put my ear buds in and tune out everything around me with music that puts me in a good and calm mood.
Also, the doctor may have cleared your husband for flying, but did he/she understand that you all were flying out of the country? Standing in line to clear customs and immigration, depending on the airport and time of day, can be a long wait – standing for an hour.
loaf-I appreciate you took the time to reply to me.
When we plan these trips I get so excited! When it gets close to the
day to fly I get so freaked out, thank you for such kind words!Much appreciated!
