all women not just mothers should be aknowledged
I have nothing against moms, they are great, most of them..but it seems to be all we hear is “and shes a mom too!” like she did the impossible. Lets be real, most anyone can be a mother, sadly not all are good, I have seen it first hand.
Many like our mothers did it all without all the accolades todays mothers get..
I think we just need to give equal time to the single, non moms who give and do sooo much and don’t get the shout outs they deserve. I know women working and giving to charities and helping their mom sisters and pals with their kids, so here is a shout out to all the great ladies, mom or not..

Bravo! Well said Katval….I wholeheartedly agree. Giving birth is not the sole criteria for being a mom, or even a GOOD one at that. Good moms are found in the everyday caring – any person can be that for someone.
I totally agree!!!!!!!!! The good Lord knew what he was doing when he took a rib from mankind to create us…….”WOMEN!” We are very STRONG INDIVIDUALS. A BIG SHOUT OUT to all WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!! BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE! XOXO
Nobody created me out of a rib. I don’t even know what you are talking about. It is “Mother’s Day” and most people honor the women in their family who either gave birth to them or have helped raise them. They don’t even have to be a family member. So to assume that people miss honoring these women is pretty judgmental. Neither one of my sisters wanted children, but they are great partners to their boyfriends and fantastic aunts, and they are not left out.
I have a cat and some people say happy mother’s day to me bcos I’m a mother to my cat. errr okay.
Well, I got a Mothers Day card not only from my children but my fur, feather and reptile babies as well. They think I am a great mom LOL, especially when it comes to treats.
