After the MOP
After the MOP I am so glad I waited

What was wrong with the Mop? Just curious….

She sold thousands and broke sales records. She released her mop at the same time the movie Joy was released (good marketing strategy). The mop was a flop with many complaints. From what I remember, It was heavy, hard to use, and the plastic piece in the middle of the mop head caused scratched floors.

smartypants7. I was also waiting for the reviews and am so glad I did not buy into that cleansing product. I now have no interest in Joy M. products since I had purchased that awful mop two years ago. Returned that awful mop which by the way scratched my hardwood floor.

Some years ago, I purchased her ‘My Little Steamer.’ She was running a two for the price of one sale. I bought into the gimmick, thinking I was getting a great buy. I gave one to my mother and kept the other for myself. I couldn’t wait to use it; but when I steamed a few of my clothes, it sputtered and shot out balls of hot water. Consequently, I had to wait for my clothes to dry. The thing didn’t even take out the wrinkles. It only really worked on very light weight fabric. The mechanism that reels in the cord was also defective. The cord shot in so fast; the speed of it made the cord jump, and the plug hit me on the mouth. That experience made me realize her products are cheaply made. I’ve never bought any of her other products.
