5 days and still no refund from cancellation
I ordered a product on 7/16/18, and promptly cancelled the order within an hour of making the purchase. HSN has held back my reversal, and it has still not posted to my bank. I have filed a claim with my bank against HSN. HSN charged my account for a $140.05 purchase, but reversed the charge on the very same day. AND THEN, they charged me a SECOND time for $148.50, the very same day. This is the hold they have not released. It has now been 5 business days since this transaction. If this pending payment is not credited back to my account by Monday, July 23rd I will be seeking further legal action against HSN. And please don’t tell me my bank is the one holding up the funds, HSN is the one not releasing my funds.
I’m truly sorry that your funds are being held, @mquattro. After reviewing your account, I see that you placed an order for two iPads. This is why there were two separate amounts. The first was declined on 7/18 and the second was canceled by default on 7/20. It usually takes up to 72 hours for the hold to be released. I have manually requested that this is expedited. Please let us know if you are still seeing the hold after 72 business hours.
