1 Star Reviews based on Delivery
It really aggravates me when I’m reading customer reviews for a product that I’m interested in buying and come across 1-star reviews based on how long it took for UPS or USPS to deliver the product.
I guess the only way those reviews are removed is if customers “flag” them. I remember Andrew Lessman talking about some of his products having low reviews but added that it wasn’t based on its efficiency but how long it took for the customer to receive them. I was SO hoping he would have said not to do that because it wasn’t fair to his customers, but he didn’t. He was nice.

I am glad to see this addressed .
What happens on the trip to your house is not the cargo’s fault . If the box is ripped , torn , dented or destroyed , the product nestled inside did not cause the box damage . It is not as if it was laying inside punching its way out .
As for odor , if a person has sensitive nostrils perhaps items shipped tightly in plastic or packing -is not for them. ALMOST all items delivered to stores come there like that … the scent dissipates in fresh air.
Of course any customer can review a product in any manner they choose . I have even seen products reviewed negatively because of because of SUREPOST delivery.
I ignore those reviews and go to the helpful reviews about the quality , sizing and as described on the site .
When writing a review I try to give information that will actually give information about the product. Smells great or smells terrible are my other pet review peeves.
This irks me as well, it’s very frustrating to read that a product was given one star because UPS left the box on the front porch instead of the side door.
I agree with you. That has nothing to do with the product itself and gives a false impression.
