What Does Your Screen Name Mean?
Or, how did you come up with it??
I am a long-time fan of the rock band, Aerosmith.
My screen name is from 2 Aerosmith songs: "Pink" + "Ragdoll" = Pinkdoll
Pinkdoll, I love your reasoning. I adore Steven Tyler!!! He is one of the two musicians I would kick my hubby to the curb for. The other is Kid Rock!!! Hubby knows this and just says I’m Psycho!!
I have always had a pet. When the husband RAN LIKE RAT my pup Baby and 2 cats became my family. My post alwqys end w/ a :catwink:
maybe they could add a dog icon for the furbabby lovers?
Mine is kinda self explanatory.
I am short -4’11". I am diva
However I am not a self absorbed or snooty person like some surmise a diva to be.
My screen name is Amyltb….Amy for my name and ltb which stands for lightbird….the rank I was in the Army when I first joined HSN.
Lady4Peace, your screen name and what it means touched my heart . Your a God sent person to this world. We need more people like you in it. I definitely know you have a chair with your name on it in "HEAVEN" …..Wow you have lived a LIFE. And we do need more "PEACE IN THIS WORLD" and it seems to be the hardest thing to get….crazy. But, I would like to thank you for everything you have done in this world for all those people over all those continents. Your their "ANGEL".
HAPPY EASTER MY FRIEND….God Bless you now and always.
PsychoMom it is so good to see you again. I always think about you. Hope LIFE is treating you well. We both have a connection with each other…..we both experienced how LIFE is so precious. You take care my FRIEND. Think of me to always be in your back door. You ever need me….just open that back door and I will be there for you.
HAPPY EASTER….God bless!
My screen name pretty much speaks for itself. One of my pet peeves is misspelled words so I just misspelled it. That’s part of my personality.
My screen name was drawn after decades of working as a Humanitarian Aid Relief Coordinator across 4 continents, I’ve seen enough war, famine, disease and grief to last 10 lifetimes. The one constant, across the board, that all folks desire is peace. Yet, it seems that’s the one thing just out of reach for most. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. I’ve also seen the places where folks realized their desires and needs were not that different than those of neighboring villages, jungle, desert, cities, hamlets etc. It was places like this that helped keep me going in spite of everything else. I love people…my greatest desire to see all living in peace :heart:
My husband is into aviation, thus "fly by 2." It means the best way to fly is together.
I have four Akita dogs. I’ve had dogs all my life but when I got my first, I was hooked!
I would like to know how to put smiles and chat.
OOO, We are getting the elephants from South Africa today!!!
Sorry for all the misspelled and missing words. I see throughTri’s . Need to get them checked. My post’s will have to be larger. I the Corp. World it was considerd yelling. But, J still Shines…
My screen name is deafsinger. Why? about 25 years ago I had sudden total deafness in both ears. I love to play the guitar & write songs since 5th grade. With total deafness, I could hear nothing but a loud buzzing in my ears. After emergency surgery & massive
( & I do mean MASSIVE) amounts of steroids, IV, IM & oral, 1 ear came back to about 70% hearing. The other ear I am totally deaf in, however it does ring 100% of the time because the connection between my ear & brain (8th crainial nerve) is non-functional on my deaf side, the sound going into my ear cannot be unscrambled. It’s so loud I can hear my ear roaring over a jet! After 6 months I pulled my guitar out of the closet & wanted to see if I could hear anything at all. I hit the 12 strings & Nothing. I cried & cried, but then pulled it back out & placed my head on it & felt the vibrations. Eventually I could hear it again , but Nothing like before. At that point I was learning to speak in conversational volume instead of screaming to hear myself over the buzzing in my head, LOL, so singing was out of the question. I was told I would never sing again. I told them I would. And I do. That is why my name here is  deafsinger
Catmom your a God sent person. Your so sweet to take care of these animals. And I am so touched by your Cloppy taking care of you. What a blessing you two have with each other. My friend is a Diabetic. I totally understand how serious this is. You just promise me and all of us that you will take care of yourself and take care of that precious Cloppy.
God bless and have a wonderful EASTER!
Catmom3. That’s what I was when I joined up with HSN. My five kids had all married and moved on, and I was left with three cats. One kitty stayed with the new owner when I sold my house a couple of years ago. She really fell in love with her, and she was kind of a neighborhood cat that camped out at my house alot. Another rescue kitty about 14 years old fell ill last year and passed away in December 2015. I still have a 20 pound hunk-o-love 9-yr old fur baby named Cloppy who follows me around like a puppy. We have a mutual admiration society going on here. I have been an insulin dependent Diabetic for 50 years, and he ALWAYS knows when I’m having a hypoglycemic episode and either wakes me up or stays by my side ( literally-smashed against me) until it’s resolved. Technically I’m a Catmom of1 now. Good thing I married a guy who likes animals ( he used to have 22 horses, a goat named Tincan, two turkeys named wishbone and drumstick, and countless cats and dogs. Sorry, I digress.. but.. Love me, love my cat.
