I hope you are ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂

I was able to schedule my booster vaccine today. No enormous wait time, mine is 10/11, the soonest I could receive was 10/08. At my physical today, I got my flu shot. So I am ready as I can be for the MN winter that is coming.

Can anyone tell me why I haven’t been able to play trivia for the past several weeks? I rcv the same question over and over and over and although I know the correct answer is ‘baseball’ it rejects with the ‘Oops!’ that I already rcvd points…no so.

Hi Gofish. Trivia has not been up and running since sometime in February or March. I have contacted Customer Service through phone calls and their chat room as well as leaving various concerns to the Customer Service area within Community. We were supposed to be up and running by the 21st of June. I have no idea what the problem is. There are many people on this t thread that have knowledge of computers and have offered to help. And, yes, you will keep getting the “Oops” as long as you have answered the question. And yes, it does not matter if it was a year ago or yesterday. Seems we all have the same feelings and concerns. We did see one question last week at the end. So, please hang in there and keep checking every half hour.

You are welcome. By the way, someone posted last week with the same concern on a different thread. Because we did see a question at the end the MOD from the customer service area mentioned that it looked like we were up and running. Hmm……if she only knew……..

I would like to add, if they repeat the same question, we should get points when we repeat the correct answer. Just seems fair… it’ll never happen, as they can’t even get us new questions consistently. Just frustrating.

Hi Sheba, I made some Amaretti cookies for my hubby today. Almond flour is one of the flours he can eat. I used his sugar substitute Erythritol both in granular and powder.

By the way xango, I picked up some ice cream today at Aldi’s. It’s put out for Keto and I’ve noticed that their foods do not contain sugar and in some instances no carbs either. I found a pint at Aldi’s. I just tried it and it’s good, but not cheap. . Watch out for the calories.

I was a little worried earlier this week. Jay king wasn’t on when scheduled and he was written out of the schedule today. I thought he might have run into a foreign country pandemic glitch. However, I got an email from his company apologizing for the misses and that he would be on tomorrow.

Sanibel, it may not have been Jay’s fault. I have noticed quite a few errors in their “Program Guide.” He should have a TSV this month which is usually his anniversary month.

The Keto Ice Cream does have calories. I picked up the mint chocolate chip since it was the only one Aldi’s had. Serving size is 2/3 cup which is 210 calories. Total fat is 21 g. Broken down is : Saturated Fat 12g. Trans Fat 0.5g. Has a lot of chlesterol @ 105mg. Sodium 65g. Total Carbs 17g.
Dietary Fiber 3g. Total Sugars 2g. Does not have added sugars or sugar alcoho. Protein 4g I would say it is not diabetic friendly. However, for someone who is, I would hide it somewhere and just use it in moderation. I gave hubby two tsps. It was just enough to take the edge off. Usually the Keto diet or the Paleo are diabetic friendly. However, this is one reason why I like keeping the books on “Wheat Belly” handy. That diet is definitely diabetic friendly and does make living with diabetes easier in t hat it does bring the sugar to almost normal. I do not dare say normal but in my hubby’s case it did.-
OODIEBOM, that does sound yummy. Its better than full fat and added sugars.

It was tasty. By the way, xango, Smuckers puts out quite a few products that are diabetic friendly. You can either purchase through Amazon or Walmart. Also watch those preservatives as well.

Sheba, the cookies I made today looks just like the ones in the picture. I cut down half the sugar in the recipe and on the dipping of the cookies. Even though I used sugar substitute.

Funny, that you use Almond Flour. It’s the only one I can use as well. No sulfites.

By the way, I also use Almond Milk unsweetened. Also found Keto bread without sugar and carbs.On the package it did say diabetic friendly. Wish I could find it again.

SanibelShelle, Although I have not tried the Keto Diet, it’s a Low Card diet, with Hight Fat diet. One can eat cheese, fatty foods. And reduce all carbohydrates, replacing it with fatty foods.

Keto is a diet. I am still learning and have not ventured into it as yet. I did find a cookbook that goes into detail of what it does and what it is. They do watch the good fats and carbs along with sugar. I picked up a few things at Costco for hubby to try and they have been pretty good. Most of their items contain no sugars, no sugar alcohol, no carbs and are diabetic friendly. Because of my allergy to sulfites I do not purchase anything with preservatives. The preservatives are in all your frozen vegetables, meats, frozen meals, etc..
