some poster knows how to get rid of the blue puzzle–HELP!
A couple years ago, a very helpful poster solved the issue of the blue puzzle. It involved right-clicking and something to do with the global settings.
But I’ve forgotten the secret, and my guessing what it was has led nowhere.
If someone knows the answer, please come to our aid.
(Yes, one can earn tickets with the blue puzzle, but there’s no pleasure in it.)
Why should we have to jump through all these hoops in order to play a simple game? Really don’t know why I keep on with this site.
It looks like with the new updates to Chrome, they’ve mucked up the known way around the blue puzzle. What we used to do was right click, choose global settings and it would come up with something about the accelerator, I believe. You’d then check or uncheck the box. Close Chrome and repeat the process so that you end up with the box checked. Then you closed the browser, went back in, and the puzzle would work. Since I don’t have the blue puzzle right now, I’m not sure what to tell you. CORRECTION: I do have the blue puzzle. If I figure out how to fix it, I’ll post back here.
I did find this blurb when I clicked on Global Settings that might be of some help:
Beginning with Flash Player 10.3, the Local Settings Manager supersedes this Online Settings Manager for managing global settings on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. The Local Settings Manager can be accessed in the Control Panel on Windows and in System Preferences on Mac. Users of other operating systems and earlier versions of Flash Player can continue to use the Online Settings Manager described here.
To access the local Flash Player Settings Manager that is native to your operating system:
Windows: click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Flash Player
Macintosh: System Preferences (under Other) click Flash Player
Linux Gnome: System > Preferences > Adobe Flash Player
Linux KDE: System Settings > Adobe Flash Player
