Thanks for the info on the cookies & how to get rid of them. Only thing is really weird. I used to get 20,000+ & up to 369,000 with low scores of high teens, but since I went thru the directions you gave, (the game froze twice on me even since & of course I lost those games, scores & tickets), but now I learned you have to reinput your email & password. I played about 20 games & found I wasn’t logged in anymore & had to put email & password in again to get credit for the games I played after that. The earlier ones were gone for good. Since doing the “cleanse”? my scores have sunk to all time lows. In over 25 games I haven’t gotten even one game of 20,000. I used to do this badly when I first played the game but got much better getting into the 20,000+, 30,000+ 40,000+ & 50000+, now all I get are low scores like I got in the very beginning. I almost wish I had let the game freeze like earlier ’cause at least my scores were good. Now since the tech stuff, I can’t get over even 20,000. Did the game figure I’m only starting out playing this game since the update took me off line? I don’t understand this loss of high scores since.
Also, I still have an issue that only after the game of the week started for Space Hunt, I played & got a score of 47,325 which was after the 11:00pm CST (midnight EST), but this score showed up as being during the week before Friday which definitely didn’t happen. It was only after midnight your time on Friday that I started writing my scores down & now the only game that I got that high & I’m not getting credit for it for Friday. Please check & see that the game of 47,325 was indeed after midnight when the game of the week was Space Hunt. At least I would have had 1 game that would have beat Sean’s. Not getting credit for that was very upsetting. Please check your records. You’ll see it was after the new game of the week was Space Hunt. I wouldn’t have bothered about this if it weren’t true, but I did get that score after the new day Friday. Every other game counted after 11:00 pm CST all the other days. Starting 11:00 pm the scores go into the next days entries. Why would this one game not do the same? Instead I was shocked to find that it said it was the high for the week & didn’t show for Friday. I wouldn’t have brought this up if it had been before midnight your time & 11:00 pm our time.
Thank you very much DubuqueRams, Maven3 & Ryan. It will be great to see when I made the scores on the Rewards History. This was such great info to receive. Also, Ryan I know you don’t think the low scores resulted from the cookies erase but I truly used to get high games & now only 2 games have hit over 20,000 since I did the techie thing with cookies/browsing. I’m wondering what I could have messed up doing it. One game was 20,225 & one was 20,800 and this after 34 games. Used to see 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s & even one that hit 369,000. I just can’t see any other reason for the difference than that I did this cleanse. It doesn’t make sense to me what else would have caused it. I don’t know of any way to prove that the 47,325 happened after midnight (11:00 pm CST) on Friday unless I can utilize the help that DubuqueRams gave me. Sorry don’t mean to sound like complaining. I just wonder how I messed up the cookies/browsing bit to affect the scores I got for games I played after doing that. With my lack of tech skills, anything is possible. Like I said earlier, I didn’t even realize that I had to relog in with password after that & played so many games that never recorded. Of course they all were low, but I finally found that I had to sign in again for them to record. Dumb da dumb dumb! ME
debhlynn, this won’t help you get that game to be recorded for a different date, but you asked for them to check their records and I wanted to let you know that you can always check to see if a game recorded and when.
If you click on your name where your name and number of tickets are located on the upper right while you are on any Arcade page, it will open your profile. Click on Rewards History. That will show you all of the tickets you earned, how you earned them and exactly when you earned them. To see the precise time, just let your cursor hover over the date.
Good luck in getting your scores back to the great level they used to be!
, I’m sorry you haven’t been able to score as high as you were previously but this is not because of the steps you’ve taken to create a better game play experience. Keep playing and I’m sure you’ll be getting those high scores in no time. It’s always a good idea to make sure you are signed into your account before you start to play to make sure your game results are being tracked.
I’m sorry to hear of your concern with your Space Hunt game. Any concerns with the HSN Arcade Games should be reported to the HSN Arcade team. You can find their contact information in the HSN Arcade Help & FAQ section.
