Rewards Winners BEWARE, prizes are not returnable!
Item won: Debbie Meyer UltrLite GreenBoxes 56 pc. set. Priced at $44.95
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but they are DEFECTIVE. After putting the lid on the very first container I could see a gap, then removed the lid poured in cup of water, replaced lid, turned upside down and niagra falls. Repeated on different containers/sizes, same results, back in box. Also they are UltraLite, very thin and flimsy, and very difficult to remove lid.
HSN says it is a reward and NOT returnable/exchangeable.
DEBBIE MEYER, they are for sale if interested.
Luckily, no one is having to pay a tax on winning any of these prizes. Wouldn’t that be a shocker if IRS comes knocking on your door claiming you have to pay a tax on your defective prize!
People who complain about never winning should be grateful!
(Personally, I don’t care–I love the games. However, I do believe a defective prize should be returnable.)
Absolutely love my Debbie Meyers containers, could not shop for produce without them. I’ve been using and re-using them for nearly two years and they’re still going strong. I live overseas where the produce does not have preservatives etc, so within two days things are already going bad. Not with my DM containers. I cut things up and store them for at least two weeks sometimes more, but usually I’ve used the produce up by then and replaced with new. They’ve saved me a ton of money, I even ordered for my Son in his new apartment, he loves them too. Strawberries are the only thing that doesn’t last beyond a week.
Sorry your’s was defective, but they really are a great product.
I purchased those containers my own self and they were horrible. I did not realize they are only meant to be used 3 times. That seemed pretty expensive throw aways to me.
Donate them to the local food bank or some charity and you win in the long run?
Or the trash?
Just a thought…
So very sorry to hear that. It doesn’t surprise me that a prize from any company would not be returnable. However, if it is defective I think if you can contact the right department I can’t imagine HSN not replacing a defective item even it is is a prize.
, I’m so sorry to hear that your prize arrived damaged. I can definitely understand just how disappointing this must’ve been for you. Someone from our Arcade team is looking into this and will be in contact with you via Private Message.
Debbie Meyer green bags are availabile at the .99 cent Store Only.
I bought a couple of boxes of the bags. It turns out the fruit that I placed in Debbie Meyer green bags were rotten in less than 3 days.
When I bought the bags, I thought what do I have to loose? I lost two dollars on bags and several dollars on fruits.
Never again would I ever consider a Debbie Meyer product.
Sorry this happen to you.
HSN, if this vendor cannot make it right with your customers, why do you have Debbie Meyer products on HSN?
This is a turn off to your customers! :womanmad:
I think a reward is USELESS if it is defective. That would be like giving counterfit money. HSN should exchange anything they send out because the items sent out represent integrity of the supplier.
My air fryer came with a UPS return label.
I’m sure HSN is not trying to dump off a defective item. Unfortunately there are always defetive items. Like the others said here post on the cust. serv. forum and see if the moderators can help. I’m sure HSN doesn’t want people to receive defective items even tho it was a gift!
And btw I love the green boxes, not sure whether I purchased an ultralight or not but have purchased 2 or 3 sets.
l would contact them very nicely and tell them thank you so much, yet, ask what you should do, naturally they won’t give you the $$, I use those containers for years, we swear by them, and my company steals them and never brings them back, they are so great. I don’t think you can sell anything on this Forum, I would not bring anymore fuel to this, just be sweet and let them know xoox good luck ToffeeDude xoxox
Although, the HSN folks do view commentts here…
Have you sent this comment to HSN help in the Community?
I’d try that!
That WOULD be ridiculous.
These folks try to help.
Some of the Phone people don’t know "everything".
Good luck! :smileywink:
What a shame that you won a prize that’s defective. Our Community Moderators are always very helpful and one should be here soon to address this.
This is a little scary. Is HSN unloading merchandize that didn’t sell or is defective. I hope not…..Ronnie
