RECEIPTS INCLUDED WITH PACKAGES
Sorry, but I had to comment.
I Sure do dislike the new design of our receipts that are included with our packages.
Very awkard looking and does not handle easily with my bookkeeping system.
Anyone else have comments regarding this ?????
My request is to make the receipts bigger and easier to read:)

I’M NOT SURE I GOT THE NEW RECEIPTS YET. BUT I HAVE CALLED C.S. A FEW YRS. AGO TO ASK THAT THEY PUT MORE INFO ON RECEIPTS. SADLY LACKING. IF I HADN’T WRITTEN DOWN THE DESCRIPTION OF A M. ANTHONY GOLD CHAIN, I’D HAVE HAD A PROBLEM. I RETURNED IT DUE TO DAMAGE (LIFETIME GUARANTEE) & THEY SENT ME A DIF. CHAIN – LESS GRAMWEIGHT. FORTUNATELY, I HAD WRITTEN DOWN THE EXACT GRAM WT OF THE ORIGINAL ONE. WAS ABLE TO SEND BACK WHAT THEY REPLACED IT WITH & GET A PROPER ONE!
I do not like when they have smaller print that you cannot read the receipts:)

Not liking them either. I really don’t like the new return labels. The old return labels fit on top of HSN’s shipping labels perfectly. I didn’t have to remove HSN’s label. More broken nails now or I have to cover up the original shipping label. Either way it’s more time and trouble. Not as EASY anymore.
One final thought….I use the Neat Scanner for bookkeeping that I purchased from HSN….
SO…now with this new receipt, I have to cut of the top portion containing my name, order date, customer number, then cut now the middle of page in order to get the description of order, and then tape the two pieces together in order to put through scanner, because there is no way I’m going to put this whole page of advertising into my scanner memory. This may sound trivial to some people who perhaps just throws the receipt into a file drawer.
So…..that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. LOL
In addition to my comment under FaireMaiden…I wonder how many other customers are feeling the same way as we are and just haven’t thought to comment…probably a lot… or maybe they are contacting HSN by phone. Just a thought.

I HATE the new Receipts! Mine don’t show the Pricing or anything now… just what was ordered! GRRRRRRRRR!!!
Whoever designed this should be FIRED forthwith. And whoever approved it should be SHOT!
Yes the old slip was so much better. Also if you want to take off the return tracking number it rips now as there isn’t enough shiny paper underneath. I think they need to definitely make changes to this new slip.
I have had a heck of a time finding the item description and price on the receipt. It runs vertically in TINY print next to the BIG "Love It Flex It Own It HSN" on the left side of the page. On the other side of the receipt are the return labels — shorter size now. I haven’t adjusted yet to these new receipts. Side note: Something I noticed about the Holiday Return Policy and return labels: None from October was available online in Order History in January. You would have had to save your receipts from October to be able to use the original return labels. What about Christmas in July — same label situation, I imagine. If I were HSN, I’d fix this for the 2016 Holiday Return periods. Merce3: Yes, I agree with you that the new receipts are awkward — and, for my eyes, visually overwhelming.
Regarding the Return Labels….I think I see what they are doing…
On my last 3 items, the heavy items ONLY included the UPS label. On lighter item there is ONLY a Post Office label. So heavy items use UPS, and lighter items use Post Office.
BUT….I still don’t like the way the front of receipt is printed out.
Thank you for starting this topic, Merce3. I agree with everything you said. I don’t like the looks of it and it doesn’t work for my files. Paper is 8 1/2 x 11, and is usually read in that position. I don’t like the new ones at all.
On top of that, I received an item, decided to return it, and then realized that I didn’t have a return label at all. I don’t have easy access to a printer, so I called cs to ask my options. The response was that there was no time to mail me a label; I was within the 30 days, but that mail time would have put me over. Not my fault. They always say to use the return label. There wan’t one. The cs then proceeded to make 2 more suggestions. Neither of which I completely understood, so I told her I guess I would just have to eat that purchase. Which I did, but it leaves a bad taste. She also made the comment that a return on that item was unusual. That has nothing to do with me, but when I read the reviews, there were a lot of people not happy with this item. Maybe low returns due to hassles with returning?
Anyway, didn’t mean to turn this topic, but wanted you to know that I agree totally!
Hi Merce3, The new receipt design threw me off when I received the first one, but I can read it, everything is there and I don’t sweat it any more. What I don’t like and would like to know is why did HSN get rid of the UPS return label? Remember when we could choose between the two labels of how we wanted to return an item, either by UPS or USPS? What’s up with that HSN?
Unfortunately our government mail carriers (USPS) are extremely lacking in professionalism. I think many of us have horror stories and preferred sending our returns and receiving our packages via UPS. Guess those days are gone forever.
I just opened a package and the packing slip was the same. I can’t figure out what you mean by awkward.
