Multiple versions of the TS Puzzle
I’m curious as to why the Arcade Team continues to create multiple versions of the TS Puzzle. The Marla Wynne TS is shown in a beautiful blue in the TS picture beside the puzzle. My friends say that is the picture they got in their puzzle. Not me. And it’s not just a different color. I got a picture of the model that is shown on the item page in the black outfit. Consequently, in order to have a picture to follow, I have to open a separate browser window with the item open (or take up valuable real estate on the puzzle by keeping the menu open). This is not the first time I’ve been aware of this. Several times recently I’ve gotten black and white pictures while my friends get nice colorful pictures. I don’t understand why this keeps happening.
It would make sense if each time you did the puzzle you got a different picture; but that’s not what’s happening. I will get the black puzzle all day today. I even tried a different browser.
HSN, why are you paying someone to make multiple versions of the puzzle? What determines who gets what puzzle? If we’re not all doing the same puzzle, the scores are meaningless.
I had one with the model with a pastel tan 🙂
Today 2-18-16, I am getting a very difficult jigsaw puzzle – I call it subtle variations in gray tones – while my friend gets a totally different jigsaw puzzle, the model in a black dress different pose. I am curious as to why this keeps happening and what determines who gets what?
my puzzle –
Definitely some problems here. Saturday, Feb 6 and my puzzle won’t show a picture at all, just the endless loop sound effect of the pieces being "scattered". Reloaded the page twice, to no avail. Using IE 11, fyi.
I agree, what or who determines who gets what version of the puzzle? Today – 2/6/16 – I am getting not the nice picture of the stacked multicolor blankets but instead a totally different version, a single color picture of a humongous bed with one blanket on it?
Hi Candace. Thanks for the quick response.
I’m using Chrome and IE 11 and I get the black puzzle. I never use FireFox. I know that the giftcard prize isn’t awarded based on time, but a lot of people put stock in their score. In addition, the 52 Club has a daily contest on Wednesday’s on the puzzle where scores matter.
But even if the difference were the browsers, why would that be necessary? The black puzzles that I get frequently lack the subtle differences I see on the colored pictures.
Hello Lizzie818, I was able to load the Daily Jigsaw Puzzle picture with the blue top in IE and Chrome and did see the black top when I loaded the DJP with Firefox. It is due to the browser pulling the same image in a different color. The game winner is drawn at random and the score is not considered in that drawing.
