Missing puzzle piece
This might sound strange, but this is the second time that there is a missing puzzle piece. I’ve tried moving the entire puzzle up and down, side to side and It’s not there. Once the puzzle is connected you can’t undo it. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? I like moving my pieces to the right before I start my puzzle. Thank you in advance for your time.
I’ve never had that problem, but here’s my solution. Once the pieces mix up, I sort the pieces on the right in 4 rows but keep the border to the left. This way the screen on the left is clear and you shouldn’t lose any pieces.
I had the same problem awhile back. It was under the puzzle were you could not see it,so now after I put all my outside together I make sure thiers nothing behind them. Like you I move all my pieces to one side.I find that it’s easier.
The only time I thought I had this happen I did find it under the mini picture of the puzzle. Boodlemum’s previous suggetions were all spot on.
Sometimes it may seem like a piece is missing but it probably isn’t. The next time this happens, here are a few things you can try:
1 – If moving the puzzle around doesn’t reveal any hidden pieces, click “main menu”, then click “toggle depth” – that will bring any pieces that are behind the puzzle to the top. Sometimes you have to look very carefully, especially if it’s a background piece laying on top of another background piece, but “toggle depth” should do it for you.
2 – click on main menu, and if “show all” is showing, click on it. One time, I accidentally clicked on “show edges” when I meant to click on “toggle depth.” If the puzzle is only showing edge pieces, and pieces attached to it, “toggle depth” isn’t going to help.
3 – click “main menu” to remove the menu bar – sometimes a small piece can hide under the little puzzle preview picture on the menu bar.
