Mahjongg Toy Chest
I have checked and my Adobe flash player is up to date (I have windows 8 if that helps) I have also cleared my browser of cache and cookies. I had my son check my computer out as he is a systems analyst and he said everything is in order, so why am I having trouble with this particular game which I used to enjoy playing? I have noticed that occasionally games will freeze in the middle of playing and /or suddenly switch to todays product!. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that once, the other day I tried this game again and it actually came on and I played it but then it disappeared again.
Attention ! "mrbucket" I don’t know what happened overnight BUT the game in question came back on!!! I read another post this morning where others have had this problem and that it is not news to HSN and that they have been trying to fix it . Whatever the reason, Thank you so much for taking the time to help! I hope the game stays on but if it does not, then so be it.(No extensions running, I did check)
I too am having problems with the mahjongg game advancing past the second level. At times it disappears or just doesn’t go to level 3. I have to return to the previous screen in order to get a game over and then it always steals about 2000 points. Can you please fix this game as I really enjoy playing it.
aussie, let me ask you another question.
Do you have any extensions such as ad blockers, privacy blockers etc running on your computer?
You can check to see if so by going into the gear icon again.
Click on "Manage Add-ons". This will show if you have extensions running.
Some extensions do interfere with flash games.
Make sure you aren’t clicking too close to the bottom border of the game. If you get close it will take you to the most recently aired product. It sounds like this is what’s happening to you. I think it’s happened to all of us at least once. The bottom and far right of the game areas are very sensitive since the July update. It usually happens to me when I have my highest score going! LOL
mrbucket…….Even thought I followed your instructions ( my setting was on medium) but I changed it to medium high . Unfortunately it did not help as I still can’t play the darn game! You said IE may need refreshed etc ., what do I do? Thankyou for trying to help me. Whether this ever gets corrected or not, I do appreciate your efforts.
The same things also happen when I play it.I used to enjoy it so much.
I usually do not use IE as my browser but have just played a game of Toy Chest.
Not seeing any unusual settings that would cause your problem. However, I am thinking that your cookie settings are causing this.
I will guide you through step by step to help you with this.
First thing I would like you to do is
While your browser (window) is open, click on the little gear looking icon in the upper right of the screen.
Click on "internet options"
Click on the tab that says "Privacy"
Look to see where the setting is set. The slide bar will show your settings and the description on the right will tell you what that setting does.
If it isn’t already, set that to "med high". This will allow certain cookie settings to be set.
If it isn’t, set this slide bar setting to med high and try playing Toy Chest.
IE may need refreshed, or close it out and start new.
Let me know what happens, con or pro.
Maven 3 , I am using Internet Explorer on a Dell laptop (17.3) I am also not very computer literate I am sorry to say!
Could be your browser settings. What may I ask is the browser you are using?
Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera etc?
Desktop, hand held device such as Ipad, tablet?
