LUCKY888 WINS AGAIN!
Congratulations lucky888 on winning yet another prize. Seriously, what’s your secret? I’m sure others would like to know, too. If you’d please share what you know, we’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
First of all, congratulations to LUCKY888.
Now why is it that a thread develops into an argument not only here but most places I have been to.
Can people not comment without being open to arguments? Opinions are just that, opinions, opinions can change IF people can get on the same page and discuss things in a respectible manner.
With all due respect for every member here on this forum, I am new here and what I am seeing is this is turning into a hate thread.
Hmm… I am also a shareholder and earlier comments are absurd. Unless I am on the Executive board, I can’t demand answers or change policy. We vote by proxy for the executive board . Being a shareholder doesn’t give me anymore clout or say so than John Q. Public.
Hello Everyone and Happy Easter! We love that you are all participating in community, but we want to keep it fun here! Let’s try to stay positive and respectful of one another.
h2u, don’t you think it’s time you let this go? You never miss a chance to bring this up, and you seem to be the only one who does. I’m sure everyone who plays on the arcade has their own techniques to make the games play better or faster. I, for one, use two or three windows so that the streaming video plays out, as that really plays havoc with many of the games on my laptop. So, is that wrong? Or does that make me a PIONEER also?
This entire discussion arose with Lucky888 amassing huge ticket totals each day. His or her ticket totals would jump by the thousands within minutes at various times throughout the day. I’m glad you have the time to keep records of what happens on the arcade, but unless you, h2u, have been able to sit for 24 hours a day every day for the past five or six years watching everything that happens, you do not have a record of everything that happens on the arcade. Even in the time you take to read and post on the forums, you miss things on the arcade leader board. I am not saying that any one of us knows everything–I am simply stating what many have seen happen at various times throughout the day over a period of years.
I think, by now, everyone knows your feeling about the 52 Club, Cindy, its members, and the entire history of this subject. As you said, it has been discussed Ad Nauseum. Let it go.
WOW!! I dont know how anyone can sit for all those hours day after day playing arcade games. My butt would be numb not to mention wide. Bravo to the ones who rack up thousands of tickets everyday, I dont have the patiences. Spring is here get out and enjoy life because it goes by before you know it.:manvery-happy:
I trust HSN ,And I’m sure lucky888 wins legitimately!
Seems to me that under Florida statute HSN has the onus of responsibility to insure there is no manipulation or deception in any sweepstakes. No "letting" anyone win occasionally. If there is manipulation by a frequent winner, but unable to be proven, then perhaps for the goodwill towards other participants and to better comply with state (and probably federal) sweepstakes law HSN needs to again change the rules and limit the number of times any one player can win within a set time frame.
i used to play spin to win but its gone:( i have to admit that i dont have the patience or the skills for these other games. i would rather read all the great comments:) have a nice day….
Has anyone ever thouht that LUCKY888 is not a cheating bot and not a person that is confined to their computer 24/7/365? It could be an Arcade test software that is judging other players habits, play styles, game popularity, etc. to PREVENT cheating. And while we all here getting worked up why and how – HSN’s IT department is having a good laugh. To add believability, they let "Lucky" win occasionally :smileywink:
Hello everyone. I have been following the saga of Lucky888 and wanted to share something that just happened this morning and to ask your opinion.
Yesterday evening (04/03/2015), I really got into playing the Jigsaw Puzzle. Loved the puzzle and just kept playing for hours. As you all know, at midnight (EST), HSN clears our scores for the day and we start with a fresh Leaderboard. Normally, this is well past my bedtime, but since it wasn’t a workday for me, I decided to keep playing into the early hours of April 4th.
After about an hour into the new day, I decided to check the Leaderboard to see how many tickets I had earned. I was pleased to see that my efforts had earned over 3,000 tickets. But, imagine my surprise when I saw that Lucky888 was not only on the Leaderboard but had already earned over 32,000 tickets.
How can you possibly earn 32,000 tickets in one hour?
So, I had a question for some of you really fast players. If you are super fast, can you earn more than 250 tickets per Jigsaw Puzzle game? Could this be how Lucky is racking up the points so quickly? Or, is there another game in the Arcade that allows a player to earn more tickets?
I hesitated about sending in this message because I don’t want people to think that I’m just complaining. But some of you know a great deal about the workings of the Arcade and I wanted your opinion. The amount of tickets that had been earned in one hour just seemed impossibly high.
I play the games for fun. If I win a prize, that’s great. If I don’t win, that’s fine too. No one should ever expect to win, but the playing field should be level with everyone having an equal chance to play and win.
Have a great day everyone. The April 4th puzzle (that gorgeous television) is also fun so I’ll be playing for several more hours.
This is not about people who think they should win and don’t. This is about a flawed picking system. On spin-to-win you get one chance to play and that’s it for the day. On the jigsaw puzzle, play as many times as you want (or your "bot" wants) and EACH time you play is an entry into the jigsaw puzzle sweeps. If they are picking winner by time of day, or your personal time of completion of puzzle, if someone or their "bot" has flooded the system with their 160 or more times or more completion rate, odds dictate they are going to be the winner of this particular sweeps. HSN should return to 180 day rule and rethink the "varying day by day" prize amount for the jigsaw puzzle so everyone has an equal chance to win, or at least think they have chance.
More power to them! Sure why not, isn’t their name ‘Lucky’.
Ok here is where people get mad at me for my opinion but here goes:
Every game site I’ve played on has the same problem and IMO it’s NOT the repeat winners. The problem is the people who think they should win rather than who does win (even tho they say they don’t care if they win or not LOL).
These are drawings, sweepstakes (basically gambling and most gamblers do not win ASK ME I KNOW!!!).
These are not hand outs. Gamesville even tried hand outs but so many people couldn’t wait their turn they had to end that.
I personally love repeat winners even if it’s not me!
You have to play and play a lot to win repeatedly. Are you willing to spend that time and effort? I think not. Of course many people win with only a few tickets but that’s ok too.
And really should you accuse someone of cheating when you don’t know they are? What if you are the repeat winner and someone accuses you of cheating or being a bot? That would hurt your feelings.
So let’s be graceful and congratulate the winners whether they win once or ten times. And hope and PLAY (a take on hope and PRAY) that we will be the next winner!
And wait till it is proven (if we even find out) that someone is a cheater!! THEN WE CAN POUNCE ON THEM!!!
The dude Lucky Eight-Eighty-8
He draws a whole crapload of h8
3-0 mil tix he’s got
Some think he’s a bot
But I think his persistence is gr8
What is this the third or fourth time Lucky888 has won another jigsaw puzzle prize? He keeps raking it in. Sounds like a flawed system to me. and yes, I know this is an old thread.
