JPA-5 Just Playin’ Around 5
Are you JUST PLAYIN’ AROUND the arcade for fun and like to talk gaming and joke around with other players? Well then, you’ve come to the right spot!
Please feel free to post a question about a game, share your gaming highs and lows, and join in the playful banter that might (okay it will) come up every now and then.
And please mark your calendar for every Friday Game Night with Sean Daly. We meet up here on the thread and watch the show together while celebrating with a themed party. So make sure you come by — the party starts at 8:00. (We also share the answers to trivia questions to earn extra tickets in the arcade).
And for the first-time reader, here is a quick summary to help understand what some of these nutty folks are talking about:
Bleeper — Tina1212’s neighborhood rooster who got his name because the HSN naughty word filter changed his morning call to *BLEEP*-a-doddle-do
Tango — Rachel64’s Chinese crested dog who has a compulsion to twirl. And twirl some more.
You will see lots of cool avatars of dogs, cats, and sheep that have evolved into personalities that sometimes engage in "picture wars".
And along with the animals come an amazing group of gamers and wanna-be gamers who have wonderful senses of humor.
All are welcome here! Post once, daily, or whenever the urge strikes you. We can’t wait to meet you!
Say it isn’t so — we filled up another thread with so much laughter it will barely open anymore!
Read up on all the new posts below but don’t post your responses here. Come find Just Playin’ Around — 6 and pick up the conversation where we left off.

Good Evening, we have been very busy I see. Everyone getting ready for Deek’s game night. I like:womanhappy:
Marcy, I forgot to tell you about the cheerleading outfit for Vanna. I just googled Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader costume for toddlers and a lot of them came up. I clicked on images at the top of the list of google topics. Some I couldn’t post because they had shopping info attached. If you don’t find them, let me know. There were lots of them.
Girlygirl, I see that no one put up a good night angel for you yet, so I did my best (not as sweet as some of the other ones, perhaps, but an angel nonetheless)…
Today’s finger art involves blowing bubbles with bubblegum—not an easy feat (or should I say hand)…Notice one of the bubbles burst and I got it all over my face(?)
Girlygirl, I’m concerned about your intake. A couple things that I thought of–yogurt with active culture–you can put lots of different nutribulleted fruits in them, sweet potatoes–can cook in microwave and then nutribullet, squash–I cook in the oven, but it’s easy and then nutribullet, homemade split pea soup, potato soup and bean soup. I make both of those without any salt and they have a lot of flavor. If necessary, you could nutribullet but the veggies in both really cook down very soft. You could put some meat in either and then it would get soft enough or nutribullet again. It takes a little time to make the homemade soup, but most of it is just cooking time. You should be able to eat some soft scrambled eggs. My favorite soft food is ice cream–also custard and Jello slither down the throat. I’ll try to think of some more things.
I just Googled Nutricious Foods When You Can’t Chew and came across a lot of safe websites with suggestions and recipes. Why don’t you check that out? I hope you find something that works well for you.
GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!! Got some things to finish before Survivor starts tonight!:womanlol: Wishing all a deep and restful sleep, good thoughts and sending prayers to all. Got to rest the eyes and fingers for tomorrow is another day for gaming and shopping.
Good evening ladies, I am watching Colleen Lopez in the Jewelry special that she has on, she just got off with Deb Guyot, and I can’t remember but if a price is reduced on an item I purchased less than 30 days ago, won’t I be eligible for a refund of the difference in price if it is lower now. I have to pull my invoice out of the file, but those Herkimer hoops were $49.90 tonight and I think I paid $59.90 for mine. How has everyone’s day been, mine has been quiet, I am eating and sleeping. I think the nibbling throughout the day just might work. I eat a little, when my mouth starts to hurt I stop and go back a little bit later and try it again. I did get much more in me than before. I thank you for the suggestions. You ladies rock! I mean really you rock! :womanlol: :womanhappy:  Again thanks Myra good tip, Macie I have the seasonings down , the Dash, garlic, onion, and turmeric really made a difference. I have a couple of programs starting tonight, I am dying to see Rosewood, get it dying. (The series is about a man who finds out he has a short time to live). So if I don’t come back have a good evening. I found me some banana Popsicles in the freezer that I thought I had finished, so that will be one of my Wednesday night TV treats. Oh yeah, I know, has anyone tried the Jewelry boxes by Colleen Lopez, they are all supposed to be Anti-Tarnish, but they are so small, I do want to get one of the ring boxes but I don’t know if they really work or not. I will be keeping you ladies in my prayers in the event I end up with the TV watching me instead of me watching it. Good night one and all. Gentle Bear Hugs and Butterfly kisses. :womanhappy:
Myra, did I understand you correctly–that after all your daughter went through to move for that job, while on crutches at that, that the job may not exist for too long?!!! Wow, that is a real kick in the pants. I can’t believe that she got that info so soon after having to move!
Bleeper Security seems to be busy on another job, so the harems Chicken Security will have to be on duty until Bleeper returns!!
Congratulations to DubuqueRams no. 1
