Is anybody there?
One thing I always liked about these forums was that representatives from HSN would often respond to pertinent posts.
Since the appearance of the new arcade, though, we’ve been getting less and less: often no tickets, and no clues from HSN as to why that is.
Have all the technicians been fired? Is the ticket issue just so challenging that everyone is stymied? Cannot someone just say, NO ONE HERE KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT?
What is going on? Is anybody there?
One other problem which is strange it’s picking 2 cards at a time, gotta watch and go back 2-3 times to correct that problem
Haven’t had that one happen; but I did see where someone else said they were having that problem, too. I haven’t played it much; so maybe if it starts happening while I’m trying to get my 20 games in, I can pinpoint something about what’s causing it.
I was up wee hours as usual, in a new med and it helped so much I slept all day, with 1000 things to do, now to find the interacting med that clashed with it, I’ll be normal again the pain subsided.
I don’t know where vs forums are.
I was asked to do survey, I also complained 1230 am this morning that banner was not working I just won I should have received 100 points I got 50 will they be making it up to us? 880 I got 10 points. Please tell me where to post to get answers. I emailed mods immediately this morning 1230am that it wasn’t doubling or banner working. What should we do?

Andrea, I did get a response back from the Arcade Team telling me they were working on the banner issue. They also confirmed that it didn’t look like the double tickets were working; so they would address that. (I’ve been gone all day, so I haven’t tried the banners or the game again to see if they were fixed.) I haven’t played this since the new Arcade was instituted, so I couldn’t be sure ho many tickets the game was supposed to pay. I know that up until a couple weeks ago, they weren’t saying the tickets were double, but the amounts were doubled.
They’re unlikely to make the tickets up for games already played. They’ve never done that that I’m aware of except on a case by case basis. They do sometimes do things like giving us double tickets all week or all month. Hopefully, that will happen.
No, I’m not a mod. I’m just a game player and shopper who’s been around HSN and the forums long enough to have a little bit of knowledge of how to get answers or what won’t get any results at all. (Under HSN guidelines, anyone who works for HSN has to identify themselves as such in their username.)
How come you can get the Mods to answer you, but they don’t answer me or anyone else about the banner of double tickets, I hate being RIGHT and ignored.

Don’t have an answer for that, Andrea, except that I post on the CS forum and try to make sure the title of my post gives them some idea what I want. I also try to phrase things in a way that is not confrontational; and I know from experience what the mods can and can’t do; so, for instance, complaining to them about not getting tickets doesn’t always get a response. They can’t do much about that. I did see your post in CS. All scores on all games don’t give you tickets. 295 is a very low score on Tri Peaks. I don’t know whether that’s supposed to get tickets or not as I just refresh the page if I get that low. I only got 5 tickets on one game today and the lowest game I kept was in the 400’s or 500’s, I think.
Unfortunately, I think we might have been getting double tickets yesterday. Tonight I got a score over 1400 and only got 25 tickets. Yesterday, I got 50 for a score that was close to the same. Seems like they may have (inadvertently, I hope) changed the tickets on this game. I haven’t been following up with them about the tickets since they said they’re working on them. Figured I could pursue it after I see what changes get made.
I’m here but nope no response contact customer service, funny call I got adjustments made today total on two items 18 bucks back, they up an exchange AND tried to cover it up by changing the color and I wrote on return stub all about it, changed from orig order grey to baby and a size in same three items ordered and sent together. So I told her and I got my shipping back.I
The first time I called Jill couldn’t hear me but I heard her quite clearly she’s screaming in phone I can’t hear you something s wrong (prolly mute button on phone lol) but telling me to call the same Nbr again it was very funny but I felt bad for her cause I’m wearing the cochlear implant (deaf implant) aka CI, but I never tell them because I can hear unless I can’t then I use the captioning phone. Truly funny.
Gotta call Ghostbusters, cause the Mods have become ghosts on the MODs arcade escapade..lol
You just made my day, but no double tickets and yes they can double them they see the number of games played in profile some where.
I just played the daily jigsaw scored 859 points zero tickets.
Don’t they used to have a daily jigsaw on the banner but looks like Joy & imans170000 + sold clutch bodycross bags fabulous cause for 2 hrs I was in wait
list for black and then I tried dark grey another wait list could have but last night but didn’t think it would be so popular so decided 3 pm watching the last presentation of prior too, said carp I’ll get conac, I ordered, then went to look and the black was processing, guess people had holds on them decided on diff colors but I wanted black to go with everything plus my black no to jacket fabrics Patti k.paid 70 for that but still have my black leather my mom but me 30 years ago for my 30th birthday, it was always too big was a puffy look similar to Imans poncho, I thought that made everyone look like a pumpkin on TV especially pregnant look if your tall enough but one host really looked like a pumpkin in the Red one had to lol…
But the regular puzzles on banner went away those ones anyone can cheat on was the ones I was talking about, where did they go, always had the specials as the puzzle not the games one??
Andrea, if I’m understanding you correctly the banner changes every week with the new game of the week. That’s why it’s not on the banner now and Tri Peaks is showing. You should have received at least 50 tickets for the puzzle regardless of the time it took to complete. Did you check to see if the completed puzzle was showing up on your history? If it’s showing up there with 0 tickets, email the arcade team for tickets.
If you are waitlisted for the TS, you are fairly certain to receive the item.
The mods are aware of the issue with the banner not connecting with the GOTW and the absence of double tickets and have passed it along to the arcade team. These are issues they cannot correct themselves.

I am a moderator at a very busy forum and a lot of my time is consumed there, this *was* my fun escape.
@insomniac the mods stopped posting on the regular forums very often back when the forums were redone. If you want a mod to reply you’re better off posting on the CS forum which they do read more often. They seem to be much more focused now on the other social media avenues than on the community–and considering the number of people who post here now, I can’t blame them.
I have to tell you that even though I try to watch for people I can offer some help to, I have been overwhelmed by the number of people just complaining and yelling about the Arcade changes without any kind of info that could be addressed and I started ignoring many of the threads. I know from past experience with HSN that complaining about the ads, etc. isn’t going to result in any changes; so why overwhelm the community with those kinds of complaints? The community can’t change it and HSN isn’t going to change it. If people overwhelmed the community with polite suggestions about possible changes, we might actually get somewhere. For example, I have emailed the Arcade Team about possibly changing the ads that change during games to static ads since the changing is causing blips in the play. We’ll see what happens.
I have posted multiple times that the Arcade Team told me they were close to a solution on the tickets problem and would post in the forums once they get it fixed.
I do agree with you that communication would be helpful. Trekky got them to start an Arcade Update thread to post what was happening with the update. Unfortunately, they haven’t posted to it again. Even if they just posted once a week about the things they were working on, it would get rid of the number of complaints.
