How many white pieces does it take to make a puzzle?
I count 72. Seems like a whole lot more. But you don’ have to use ALL of them everyday, HSN. The solar lights, the necklaces, now the air conditioner. Give unto me a break, I’m going snow blind here. The curved screen tv was super!! Even when the ts is in color the puzzle ends up bing in white, or for a change sometimes, black. I like working the puzzle, but give me something to work with that won’t bore me out of my mind. I’m not trying to win a prize, I just like to work puzzles. I picture some techie person who’s ticked off because they have to work at night rubbing their hands together and saying, “OK, lets see how many white pieces I can get into this puzzle for tomorrow.’ Maybe put the brand or a logo in the picture? A few words of sales pitch? A cat (well, you can never have too many cats on the internet! lol) Thanks for giving us a chance to win a prize with the puzzle, but you could even add a non-prize puzzle maybe? Thanks for letting me rant. I feel better now. OK, back to the puzzle. I’m getting this sucker under 6 minutes if it kills me. :catlol:
Thanks for the great puzzle today, HSN. Perfect way to start the July 4th weekend. Now THIS is how to display a puzzle. Lots of fun.
Totally agree with you. Maybe put “something” in the background other than “white”. I’m not good at the puzzle at all, but enjoy playing it. Makes me craaaaaaazy at times!
To all, I like the Puzzle but I have never finished in less than 10 minutes. I think I may have mental block because I can’t pay Soduko on the computer, but in a book, no problem. IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE FOR ME ON THE PUZZLE I AM ALL EARS!!!
THANKS AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
BTW mixmaster – if you complete that puzzle in under 6 minutes please let us know. And please don’t “kill” yourself doing it – we and your kitty cat would miss you terribly!
I can not play the puzzle on my tablet. I only play it on my computer. It is simply impossible on anything else but a computer. And then when the puzzle is all “white space” as so many have complained about – it’s tough on the computer. I succeeded at today’s puzzle in 16:45 minutes and felt like a genius because when I first saw it I thought for sure I’d be up all night. lol
Allllrriiigghhttt! After two days in a row of white space maybe you all are getting the idea that someone is out to get us. As the saying goes, “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean something isn’t true.”
Thanks for the BIG turquoise and black shoe today!! Fun puzzle.
SweetheartPine, I would never even attempt the puzzle on an iPad. I have to blow it up to theatre mode on my desk PC to see the detail. I don’t think my generation evolved the right finger tips for small electronic devices. The kids and grands seem to have the right finger tips, though. I can’t imagine what the puzzle does on an iPad. Sometimes I have to click them four or five times to get them to click together on the big screen. Nightmare for you.
I have a heck of a time playing the puzzle on my Pad; pieces seem to have a mind of their own, do wacky things, and don’t respond to my fingers right. Maybe it’s my fault and I just don’t have the touch!
