Get extra tickets on Tri Peaks Solitaire
For those that don’t know and especially on double ticket day, there is a way to get extra tickets on Tri Peaks Solitaire as told to me by other gamers. On your very last card and you know can’t WIN, don’t play the last card.
In the upper right corner of the game board are 3 horizontal lines. Click on them.
It will ask you if you want to quit – click on Quit.
It will ask if you are sure you want to quit – click on Yes
Click on Submit Score
You will not beat Shannon’s score by doing this because technically you have lost the game. However, by clicking on the bars and going through what I said to do, you will get 30, 40, 50 tickets (because you’re getting double tickets today only) for the game based on how you scored.
This works anytime you are playing Tri Peaks Solitaire, but on double ticket day that is a lot of tickets to pick up for a losing game that you would get zero for if you exited the game by playing the last card.
There are a few little tricks like this in some of the games. This is just one I heard and just want to pass it along to everyone. I hope I have said this in a way you can understand, Good luck with your gaming and rack up a whole lot of tickets today on Tri Peaks Solitaire!
I hope everyone playing Solitaire today are using this tip. It doesn’t win you any games but it sure adds up to a LOT of extra tickets on double ticket day!!!!
I never would have figured that out on my own – thanks!!
Nice job Faire with the pics. I am doing great with this game:womanhappy:
Is there a chance that maybe Shannon could play a few more games? This is getting quite boring playing the same games over and over and over.
Here’s a visual for those of us wherein ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, *lol*
A ‘Lost’ Game (all cards played-out)—>
Click on the 3-Bars to the right of ‘Time’—>
A new Screen will come up… Click on ‘QUIT’—>
Another Screen will come up asking if you are sure… Click on ‘YES’—>
And yet, another Screen (the last one, I promise! *lol*)… click on ‘SUBMIT’—>
And here is the SCORE and your TICKETS earned—>
You can use this method any time you play this Game but, remember, the Double Tickets are only earned when HSN has Tri-Peaks Solitaire as a ‘Friday Game Day Special’… which only lasts for 24-hours… it then reverts back to the regularly-allotted amount, (in that case, you would get the 30 Tickets instead of the 60 as shown above).
I just lost the game but beat Shannon’s score, I just lost with a score of 1,575, rare but apparently not impossible.
I tried this doing it Myra’s way – that is go ahead and play the entire game and for those games that you lose the screen goes black. If you look closely, you can make out the 3 horizontal bars I was talking about through the dark screen. You can still click on them and follow along like I stated above.
And yes, SweetheartPines writing is correct with what she is saying.
We are all actually saying the same thing, I just hope the way one of us has said it makes sense to you. I am only bringing this up because anytime there is a little something within a game that helps other gamers – I say let all of us know about it. Making those few clicks for an otherwise lost game is going to get the average player on Tri Peaks today a lot of extra tickets because it’s double ticket day for that game.
And Please – if you happen to know of some little tricks that get extra points or help improve your score for any of the Arcade games – please share them. The games are fun, but they are even more fun when we can get help from others to improve our scores or show us how to play a little smarter. This little hint doesn’t improve your score but it does get you more tickets.
Lemire, this is a good tip to pass along to use when you’ve lost the game (you don’t have to worry about playing the last card, because you can’t). On double ticket days, I think this will get you 40 to 80 points. If you could play the last card, you’d win, and get 50 points minimum (100 when doubled), plus your time bonus. You don’t get the time bonus if you lose. I hope I got that right and explained it somewhat clearly!
Note: after reading Myra’s post, I realized you both were talking about “playing” (turning over) the cards from the stack at the bottom of the game. My comments refer to playing the cards on the top board, that, if it fits, gets “played” (placed on) the cards on the bottom stack as they’re turned over.
Yep, don’t hold any cards back! Either play your last top card, win, and get your points automatically, or, if you can’t play it, you’ve lost, but make sure to still collect your points as explained by my two pals!
It’s easy to forget that it’s good to periodically repeat game tips, especially on double ticket days! Good job pointing this out, Lemire! And Myra, I didn’t know you could go back and reclaim your points if you forgot to!
Actually, you can complete playing the game, you don’t have to hold a card back. If you’ve lost it means you can’t play any more cards.
And if you accidently hit the Play again”, but want to quit and get the points for the previous game, just click in the top right even though it’s all black, it will revert to the option screen that will ask you if you want to quit, say yes, it will give you the score, game over, get your tickets and they are DOUBLED. 60, 80 tickets
Trust me, just play the game as usual, don;t hold back any cards, if you didn’t win, click in the top right corner you’ll get a screen asking if you want to quit , say yes, it will then give you your score, submit, I lost and just got 80 tickets with a score of 585 points.
I think what lemire was trying to say is that even if you lose, you can still post your score to get double tickets for the game you just played, which is a valuable tip! Just remember, if you think you went too far and can’t see the the 3 bars in the top right corner, click there anyway, they will come back up.
