I would like to know where you get the words for the game outspell?
Regarding OUTSPELL: The WORDLIST is on the right of the game screen. Clicking on it will open a screen to the left which will show all of the tiles that you have to play. If you click on any of your tiles while in WORDLIST, WORDLIST will show you many words using that letter. I don’t use this feature when I play, because I prefer the challenge of beating the game while using my available vocabulary.
Playing OUTSPELL: You click on the game and, using the letters available at the bottom of the screen, have the 1st turn to make a word. After clicking on and then moving your letters to the middle of the screen (putting your highest point letter on the double score tile), you click submit. Then the computer will make a word, following which you make another word that is connected with the words already on the board. The computer move is immediate and sometimes makes a word you have never before heard of, but you realize that you can later use that same word–so you get better, and if you look up the definition-also increase your vocabulary (qi is a word, as is ka, vis, zed, aa, ef, et, dan, roc, etc.). Look for tiles to use that will give you double or triple points. As you play letters, you will receive additional ones until out of tiles for the game. If you make a mistake you can click and bring back each letter or you can click on RECALL and your letters will be returned – as long as that feature is still available for your game. If you want to turn in one of your letters you can click on EXCHANGE, following which blank tiles will appear above your letters. You choose the letter to discard, but have no idea what you will receive, so it’s not a very helpful feature unless you are desperate (have 4 letters that are the same, for example, or have no vowels and hope to get a vowel, etc.). If you get a blank tile, click on it, and then an alphabet screen will pop up to let you choose any available letter. Keep in mind that you can add the letter S to any word to make a word, but don’t waste it on a low value word. Also – look for places where you can make two words at the same time. This game is not timed. It just sits and waits for your return. f you go back to it after having closed it out, you will be given opportunity to continue. If you choose not to, it will delete the words on the board and then open a new game for you. You choose the level of game difficulty at the start of each game. Good luck!
