Flash Player Warning
Did any one else just get a WARNING that our Flash Player may be out of date? I believe it is a SCAM and has a virus etc attached to it. Thoughts? I was in the middle of a game when it took over my screen!
I had my normal Flash Player needs to update when I cut on computer.I use IE and I went to my Control Panel and updated from info there. So far,my scans are fine so I hope I am OK.
Did you know that HSN Arcade Does Not Care about their customers – that they put us at a security risk to require us to use Flash Player for some (actually MOST) of their games now !?
I will NOT use Flash on my computer, therefore I am unable to play most of the games in the Arcade !!!!!!!!!!!!
To the OP: It is a scam! I got that in Firefox, and like an clicked on it. My computer security system (Bullguard) knocked out the file immediately so my computer wasn’t harmed. But I then got a nasty screen scam that wouldn’t let me do anything unless I clicked on it for another try at destroying my computer. I removed my battery and reset my computer, but I probably could have just changed my user profile. I was too worried about damage and just started over.
I will be ignoring it and just wanted to put it out there so no one will be tempted to click on it! I already knew I was up to date so wasn’t tempted to click on it. Appreciate the conversation!
Google Chrome has Flash Player integrated into it. At this point I would just ignore the message. If it keeps happening, you might want to uninstall Chrome and reinstall it to be sure you have the current version of Flash Player.
I’ve been using Google Chrome for months now. I’ve seen this warning before but it was when I was using Edge by Microsoft. I have an IT friend who told me not to use Edge as I was getting Trojans all the time when I was on MSN and now I am not.
